  • Stability at the top of the line and deployment in various branches were quick and simple to do.
  • Saving time by reducing the amount of hardware required to complete the same tasks, as well as money by not having to purchase a larger or more expensive system.
  • In comparison to other options, it may be slightly expensive. However, the cube license allows for an on-the-fly increase in the number of SIP channels, since no hardware changes are required.

  • Every type of routing is supported by the device
  • Not much costly but security licensing should not be needed separately
  • Failover support is brilliant; If one link goes down by using SLA configuration link automatically shifted to another link without knowing any user

  • We have had several times where we purchased assets and needed to add a remote site quickly for new staff to work. This is very quick to spin up and provides agility to business demands
  • Allows for agility to failover network access when primary Internet services fail. We have near 100% uptime due to the ISR configuration we use. Even in the most remote locations.
  • Since we adopted Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4000) as our de facto WAN hardware, we have cookie-cuttered our WAN infrastructure, which makes it easy to manage, upgrade, and alter with minimal impact to users and IT.

  • A HUGE amount of time saved when you're pumping gb's of encrypted data through these guys
  • Super extensive logging available via snmp if you're wanting to monitor your routers closely
  • Its risen our IT budget up to the stratosphere however!

  • ROI is high, as these things hardly ever need to be touched once set up
  • Time savings in reducing the amount of needed hardware to accomplish the same tasks
  • Gives our admins peace of mind when building out the network with Cisco gear

  • deployment in different branches were quick and easy to be done
  • Same config push on all routers helped to get the setup done in few hours.
  • expansion is very easy with NIM available for different purpose whether it be WAN port or PRI or FXS port.
  • Cube license helps to increase the SIP channel as and when required as no hardware change is required which is very helpful.

  • We were able to transition our ISR 4451s from head-end to branch office routers extending their value.
  • They are allowing us to move toward an IOS-XE standard, reducing support overhead.
  • They are flexible and full-featured enough to enable us to run pfr, IPSec, VoIP and basic security with no performance impact.
