Cisco Business Edition 7000 was a collaboration and universal communication, VOIP / telephony, conferencing and messaging platform for enterprises of 1000 to 5000 employees. It has been discontinued, and is superseded by functionality found in Webex Calling.
Cisco Business Edition 7000 works fine but I wonder if it's significantly different from the 6000 series.

(1-11 of 11)Cisco Business Edition 7000: The best VoIP Phones For Organizations
- Cisco Business Edition 7000 have got best voice quality and they are very reliable.
- The phone is embedded with security and encryption features and interception of call is very tough and difficult. So they are very secure.
- The phones are portable and easy to carry which make it a best choice.
- The User interface of phone could be better and it can be more interactive. The options are complex.
- The configuration part is tough as we need to select them manually through buttons which make it a difficult task.
- If the bandwidth of network is low we may face some noise disturbance and jitter in voice.
- There should be proper documentation available for configuration part so that anyone with good knowledge can do it.
They are not well suited in scenarios where we do not have LAN connectivity or internet. Sometimes we may face latency and jitteriness which is not good.

- All in one platform that includes all the Cisco UC services in one appliance.
- All the services are ready to use and preconfigured.
- Tools available improve productivity and user experience.
- More cloud based services need to be added to the default service package.
- Companies frequently require a small contact center within the UC environment. It would be nice to see a build it contact center in the box.
- It would be nice to see some advanced AI based services (IVR voice recognition service) in the BE7K application list.
- Call recording should be also built in.
