We use our Cisco Aironet 1850 Series Access Points in our four city offices to provide wireless internet to employees and customers alike during purchase periods. We also put it in tags for use with data collector systems using RF. The captive portal system to connect customers is amazing and can be customized with the data to be inserted and layout. Deploying the access point is extremely simple with just a network cable connection. Management is performed via the web because this model has an integrated controller to manage wireless network equipment without IT intervention. The radiofrequency calculations, best channel, and interferences, for example, are done automatically.

My organization is using Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Points to provide secure corporate wireless services to end-users and customers across our entire footprint. We have approximately 8000 APs deployed that support both corporate access as well as multiple guest services. Typically, our wireless service provides employees the freedom to collaborate and move freely through the various workspaces the company offers.

All new access points we purchase are Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Point series. We utilize them for our corporate network as well as in our k-8 school system. In conjunction with our 9800 wireless controller they keep our wireless network fast and reliable.

In our company, we are using Cisco Catalyst 9105 Access Points in our internal environment. The purpose of acquiring these access points more than 1 year ago was to promote a digital transformation and mobility in internet access within the company for employees and special guests. The Cisco Catalyst 9105 [Access Point] solved the wireless connectivity issue and expanded coverage with more modern Wifi 6 technology and high-speed 2.4Ghz and 5ghz radios. Connectivity and authentication take place through 802.1x authentication and are managed by a centralized Cisco WLC that is responsible for provisioning the 9105s in the network and controlling the radio frequency.

The Cisco Catalyst 9100 Series Access Points are being used throughout our organization as the latest model of access points. We are using these in applications ranging from office and plant production environments to warehouse locations. This model of access points addresses our need for continuing to upgrade our infrastructure as old technology goes end of life.

Utilized for corporate WiFi services, to enable business-grade wireless network communications. Also utilized for guest WiFi access to common areas of the facility. The entire campus utilizes Cisco WiFi for access, including some select outdoor areas. The WiFi solution addresses the need for mobility and collaboration of users, allows the ease of staff to interact with various users, and also allows access to critical information in various locations of the facility.

We are using Cisco Aironet and Catalyst 9100 Access Points, initially within our test lab and the reception area of our office as we were trying to determine [its] viability as the replacement product for our office.

Safe to say that we are happy with the results, and we are now currently deploying this to our other sites and offices.

It is a very good access point with clean air. The coverage and also the stable connection gives enterprise experience to the users and [does] not give problems to users. For the speed, it is always perform[ing] well but it cannot compete with traditional LAN. Of course, the purpose of wireless is for convenience. [In] summary, the Cisco Aironet is good in pricing and performance.
