Access points were easily provisioned and installed at sites. They are connected to the ceiling of the offices, and the controller manages them automatically. The software has an excellent response time, and the equipment quickly obtains the information that IT has configured.

Considering my campus has 3000 of these, and the programs that come with the Cisco Access Points make it really easy to know exactly which Access Points are down, and being able to troubleshoot through SSH from the office is a God sent.

Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Points has a number of devices in its portfolio that can meet pretty much any business need. Larger density sites can utilize APs with more radios that can serve more clients. Various technologies in the 802.11 spec allow for time slot sharing with can allow these APs to scale very well. There is also AP that are specifically designed for very small deployments that can be used to provide coverage in less used areas allowing for a great deal of diversity and scale options.

scalability is good in Cisco APs. the only issue is some APs are not compatible with new WLCs which may need to replace a large number of APs used currently.

The [Cisco] Catalyst 9100 Access Points have definitely changed the way things are able to be scaled within the Cisco Wireless Environment. They require that you move to the [Cisco] Catalyst 900 Series Wireless Controllers, which throws everything you knew about previous wireless controller configuration upside down, all in the name of scalability.

The Cisco solution is fully customizable. From a simple small site installation to a full-featured enterprise installation, [along] with the integration of other security solutions. Best to pair this with other Cisco solutions, but there are use cases available that have integrations to other industry networks and security products. The system can allow a different WiFi setup between departments, branches, or offices as required.

So far I have tested most of the AP's in the market. Each AP has their own features and strength points, but Cisco AP gives the most balance between performance, pricing, and stabilization on each factor.
