In our organization, we are using Cisco Catalyst Switches for connecting our internal employees/users with each other. They have not caused any issues till now. I also like that most of the switches have all the ports we need for optimum performance and reliability. The best thing about Cisco Catalyst Switches is the very good availability in the market.

We use them for all the communication of the organization in different sites in different regions. We address all kinds of issues from port failure, hardware failure, inter-vlan communications, communication failures with internal and external resources all these are handled by us and sometimes it is necessary to contact Cisco TAC for further review.

We have used Cisco L2 and L3 switches in our organization in the past. I found them to be easy to set up and use. I also like that the switches are long lasting and perform reliably. Some of the models also have POE, which can power other network devices like access points, etc.

We are using Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches as access layer switches in a stand alone Lab for their advanced VLAN and routing capabilities. We use the switch's ability to separate different types of traffic such as access control, regular traffic and guest traffic effectively. These switches also provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) support to power PoE cameras and Access Points (APs).

We mostly use Cisco Catalyst as access layer switches when we want to cut some cost out but still have Cisco reliability and integrate with the Cisco Meraki environment we have on site.
It is easy to integrate and link Meraki along with Catalyst line and have a steady and stable experience on the network compared to using other vendors hardware.

We use Cisco Catalyst Switches to trunk our office network between two separate suites. They are effective in offering plenty of ports to wire in to the network as well as connecting to wireless devices. Without the switch setup, we would have to find alternate ways to access our WiFi from our second office suite.

We use switches mainly to bring users onto the network. That's what the switch normally does. It brings users onto the network and that's pretty much it. Authenticate the users denial, accessing role elements, deny access to the network switches. I've come a long way in the last 20 years where we can turn off ports, turn on ports individually to, or even just block a particular device if it doesn't match what we have on our list.
