Cisco Cloud Email Security - Well Worth the Investment
- Incoming mail policies and content filtering are easy to implement.
- Security aspects of the service are great at filtering out unwanted traffic: anti-spam, anti-virus (Sophos and Mcafee), Cisco AMP, outbreak filters, reputation filtering, etc.).
- Email tracking through the SMA is a breeze, so if you have specific users that are having problems in the receipt of emails, research into the problem is quick and easy.
- The reporting is detailed for operations and security functions.
Cons
- Outlook integration in terms of a plug-in would be great. Currently, users can't add something to a blacklist or whitelist directly from Outlook.
- Management of the platform is done from two portals the ESA and SMA. It would be nice to have it all in one management portal.
- A quick start management guide would be nice. The manual is over 1,000 pages, so there is definitely a lot of functionality in this service.
- Cisco was priced better than some of the other best of breed providers.
- It has significantly reduced our spam and malicious content to our users compared to our previous deprecated on-prem email gateway.
- The ease of adding a new site.
