Since we are a mid-range organization, we are using Cisco Meraki Go for managing our Wi-Fi needs. Many Wi-Fi networks can be configured in a very short span of time, It is very fast proving to be a positive impact on our organization. Since it is a plug-and-play solution, it is very affordable for a mid-range organization, like ours.
  • Manage Wi-Fi devices
  • Very Fast Wi-Fi
  • You can configure many multiple wi-fi networks
  • For big companies, use cases may be limited.
  • When distance is increased, there may be a slight glitch in connectivity
  • Can be a quite expensive for a growing business
Cisco Meraki Go is best suited for small and mid-range companies for managing their wi-fi needs. Since it is a cloud-based solution, it proves to be very affordable for such organizations. The setup and configuration process is very user-friendly. Within a span of minutes, users can configure many networks.
Cisco Meraki Go offers a very easy simple and easy process for onboarding, which is very user-friendly helping our IT professionals of the organization. It configures multiple networks in a very small amount of time. Also, the web portal is available if any user wants any account information and claim subscriptions. Very user-friendly, everything is available in a single snap of fingers.
We integrated Cisco NGFW i.e. Cisco Firewall 1000 series for mode added security making it to be a fast, reliable and secure solution. We also integrated Meraki Go network switch of 24 ports with model Cisco Meraki Go-GS110-24/P, it helped as it eliminated the need for multiple adaptors and PoE injectors making it a simple and cost-effective solution.
I gave it a 9 because it is a very reliable and very efficient solution for small organizations which is cloud-based eliminating many costs. You can integrate it with other cisco devices as well, also you can configure many networks. But with a growing business, it can be a little slow and its performance can be impacted. So, I deducted one point for that. On and all, it is one of the best solutions.

I have to say that this time Cisco has made a very smooth product. It's very easy to install, configure and operate. It helps users to go on wireless in a very short time. One of the only products I can find that immediately does its job right out of the box
  • Very fast setup
  • It does its job right out of the box
  • An all-around good product
  • Must be improved interconnectivity with mobile
  • Port-forwarding sometimes doesn't work
  • Lack of desktop control
It well suits in a basic middle experienced company. It could be harassing for not technicians people and could be too simple for professionals. But at last, I think the best option to use it should be not to change the default configuration. In this way, you can use the best of this product.
Setup, monitoring, management, everything is managed directly from your smartphone. It scales up very well in a small organization where there is no well-structured IT support. Every employee has all the necessary to start & go with this new wireless setup. It works well in very few steps and has no hidden costs
Cisco Prime is the "formula one" for network management. This wonderful product management foundation is based on a top-down approach to network management. It has huge support for WIFI products, like, for instance, WLC, the wireless LAN controller.
I think this solution fits well in a company with no more than 50 employees. It is a fixed, smooth solution that doesn't need expert technicians or IT staff to deploy it. More or less, you have to use it in this way. It has no extra module nor permits to use other cisco hardware.

We are the system integrators, and we suggest this product for the customers who don’t want extra infrastructure, like wireless LAN controllers, which are extra hardware for the access points. But with Cisco Meraki Go, it will be plug-and-play. Easy to control the devices from any part of the world with the help of a mobile app or a web browser.
  • Easy to manage
  • Access from anywhere
  • Best in performance
  • Heat maps
  • Licensing
  • Support
The customer was looking for a wireless solution that could provide user analytics with detailed information. If classic Cisco then it needs multiple servers and devices to do the implementation. In Cisco Meraki Go, you don’t have to go with multiple devices; just connect the AP to the dashboard, and you will get a detailed report of the users, and they are accessing.
Cisco Meraki Go is very easy to deploy, and if you have multiple branch offices, you just need to add the device to the dashboard, and you can check the performance from anywhere. The dashboard is also user-friendly easy to understand to configure the devices and generate the reports from the dashboard.
One of our customers has the existing cisco switches, which were classic models. And we have suggested they use Cisco Meraki Go and switch as they were extending the network. We took the connectivity from the classic 2960 switch and connected it to Cisco Meraki Go switch to get the internet and other wireless services. This means the integration part is very easy with other cisco products.
Because we don’t have to go on-site to deploy the devices, the dashboard software itself can be used to configure the devices. Also, you can do the configuration well in advance before your device arrives on-site. And also, for any firmware upgrade, you don’t have to visit on-site; you will be performing that from anywhere,

We use the Cisco Meraki Go Indoor WiFi Access Point model in our building with the mission of delivering wireless internet to our users and guests. One of the great advantages of this model is the ability to be managed in the cloud and automatically provision access points installed anywhere. The entire configuration is adjusted by artificial intelligence and rules created by us at IT. We have been implementing this WiFi solution for over two years.
  • Cheap and fast hotspot supporting multiple simultaneous clients.
  • Guest control through a Captive portal.
  • They work with the 802.11ac Wave 2 protocol.
  • They direct the WiFi signal directly to the client that is accessing the internet and increase the quality of the signal.
  • Managed in the cloud and accessed via the web
  • It does not support WiFi 6 so far.
  • Not recommended for auditoriums.
Our Cisco Meraki Go Access Points are great low-price, high-quality Cisco Meraki access points with reliable warranty and support. The product is durable, compact, and beautiful, and can be installed on the ceiling or wall to cover small and medium coverage areas. We highly recommend it for the ease of management in the cloud and with a clean, intuitive, and friendly interface from Cisco. Once configured, it is replicated to all access points that will be installed when connected to the internet.
We have benefited from the ease of managing all Meraki access points at the same time through the Cisco Cloud. We created some network rules, configuration for the employee network and configuration for the guest network, created VLAN, and replicated to everyone at the same time at alternative times. The access points are stable and have never had any problems with drops or downtime.
They can be scalable according to the company's demand. To install it is only necessary to connect the switch's ethernet port and all settings are imported to the Cisco Meraki Go access point. This is not restricted to a single location, it can be spread across multiple locations.

We decided to use Meraki Go to address WiFi connectivity problems, security: protecting WiFi clients, and easy setup.
  • Protect wifi clients.
  • Firmware updates.
  • Very stable WiFi connection.
  • The size of the device.
It's a good solution if you're looking for a secure, reliable, and easy-to-setup WiFi for your business. The AP is suitable for indoor and outdoor, and you can combine multiple AP to get further coverage of the WiFI signal. If there are too many walls, the WiFi signal will be reduced, but it also happens with other vendors.
This Cisco Meraki Go product was easy to set up, this can be accomplished with a smartphone and installing the app on it. You have to power on the APP, scan the QR code labeled at the back and start the setup process, and in a few minutes, you have it up and running. It's a good practice to have separate WiFi networks between internal and external clients. We deployed several APs to cover the wifi zone we want to provide WiFi, and everything was fine.
We also have a switch stack made with Meraki products (PoE capable), and it's easy to set up. The cloud admin portal it's so easy to use. You can schedule firmware updates and other interesting features, and all of them are accessible from anywhere because it's using a cloud management portal. You have interesting info about connected devices, bandwidth used.
Totally agree, it's flexible and scalable, you can deploy it over the selected areas, providing a reliable solution for our company.

Their monitoring dashboard looks great, they are overpriced, we can actually measure broadband services remotely and get full visibility of what's going on.
  • Cisco Meraki's rich security feature set addresses all of the PCI Data Security Standards.
  • Maintain a vulnerability management program, implement strong access control measures.
  • Good for retail companies.
  • Basic configurations.
  • Cisco Meraki Go's devices are highly expensive.
  • Good management platform.
It has stateless firewalling, Layer 3 and Layer 7 application traffic shaping, wireless intrusion detection and prevention, and location analytics.
it offers Indoor and Outdoor Wireless Access Points so you can have fast and reliable WiFi, no matter where your business goes

We use it for remote management of devices and also to provide a VPN tunnel to our users to the internal network.
  • Really simple and easy to configure and manage - simple interface.
  • Centralised cloud management from the dashboard makes it easy to manage devices.
  • Easy to integrate.
  • The price is a bit too expensive.
  • It was easy to set up access points at 2 different locations but they lost connectivity frequently.
  • The SSO with Azure is only one-way.
Cisco Meraki Go is an easy software to use since it has cloud centralized management from the dashboard. But some of the features are not up to mark for the given price.
Cisco Meraki Go stands at the top in the case of easy configuration and deployment.Without any skilled knowledge, one can easily set up and configure. The interface of the dashboard is very neat and clear.
The scalability works for me as required.

The product is best suited for small businesses. Meraki Go is the economical version of other wifi products available from the wifi solutions. They are easy to deploy and very user-friendly to set up too. They provide the state of the art features at a budget scale. This is the best solution for small businesses to manage and control their wifi without having multiple hardware to do so.
  • Great App Interface.
  • Easy to Install.
  • Great Performance.
  • Economical.
  • Bundle offers.
  • More models with different specs.
  • Partner offers.
Best suited for small-scale businesses or startups who rely on high speed and better productivity. The price point is really affordable for the set of features it offers compared to any other product in the market. Great for remote offices or temporary offices since it can be set up easily and be moved from one location to another without any hassle. Not suitable for any large-scale enterprises or where security policies are very strict. The user has limited control over the device compared to other enterprise products.
The most attractive or plus point the product offers is the simplicity to set up the device and get into production without the need for any additional devices like wireless controllers. The ease to set up has benefited many clients to set the device up without any professional help. Additionally, IT professionals appreciate the ease of use of the app and the simplicity to modify or set parameters for the device.
Integrating with multiple products is always a key and important factor in adding new devices or technologies into the network. Cisco Merak Go is easily integrated with other products, especially other Cisco products to be used in unity. This improves the overall security and is also able to add additional policies which are not possible with the Meraki Go interface or solution alone.
The ease of deployment can be moved from one site to another easily. There is no need for any source or managing controller and hence it can be easily moved with the same configuration. This type of solution is best for teams who work together and are on the move from one location to another and who rely on high performance and good security for their wifi network.

Cisco Meraki Go Appliances are usually used as WIFI hotspots or Access points in urban environments to ensure compliant access to WIFI or to simply connect to the internet through the company network. It's used generally when clients used Meraki stacked with other products like Meraki MS and Meraki MX. The product should be used with an authentication mechanism.
  • cybersecurity
  • indoor and outdoor WiFi
  • network access
  • Dynamic address management
  • wifi range
  • captive portal
Small business with maximum 5 rooms to cover in WIFI. This product is well suited for clients with no more than 5 areas to cover in WIFI. The number of machines connected on each Meraki Go appliance should not exceed appliance capacity or else performance will be affected. The client should also buy Meraki MX to secure internet access.
Cisco Meraki Go appliances are configurable in the cloud which makes them quickly deployable. templates can be preconfigured in the cloud dashboard then the appliance could download its configuration after basic network configuration to be able to reach the Cisco cloud. this is useful for large-scale deployment of Meraki Go access points with nearly the same configuration. This is how we saved time in the deployment.
Meraki Go access points deliver access to the network. then Meraki MS should switch traffic to the default gateway. Gateway of all LANs should be handled by layer 3 equipment which could be the Meraki MX firewall. If the client wants DNS security, Cisco Umbrella could be used to filter internet traffic on DNS layer.
Scalability is still limited because of the limited number of machines that could be connected to a single Meraki Go access point on DHCP. But on large scale, if the client uses many access points, this issue could be solved.

We used Cisco Meraki Go to provide WiFi to a regional clinic that required WiFi to be set up quickly, and which was due to fall out of our direct support within the year, so implementing our usual full WiFi solution wasn't an options. We used Cisco Meraki Go to cover a 2 floor clinic, providing WiFi to both patients, staff and clinicians.
  • Management
  • Ease of install
  • Quick deployment
  • Licensing price
  • Build quality is a little on the cheap looking side
  • Physical size felt a bit large
It is very well suited to small/medium deployments, where a central controller on site is not required, and cloud management of WiFi APs is not deemed to be any kind of security risk. It's suited for environments that need WiFi set up quickly where an existing wired internet connection is available.
Cisco Meraki Go allowed us to quickly deploy WiFi to an area that badly needed it. This improved patient experience of the clinic visit, as waiting for an appointment without WiFi isn't much fun. Cisco Meraki Go allowed clinicians to be more mobile and flexible. Cisco Meraki Go allowed sensors to be installed without the need of a wired connection.
No other Cisco products were integrated with Cisco Meraki Go
We had no issue installing Cisco Meraki Go with the number of points required to cover the entire clinic. I believe we were not anywhere near the limit that Cisco Meraki Go can support. Coverage for each point was very good anyway, and we probably could have used less points than we ended up installing.

It addresses how our bandwidth is used and who has access to our internet. By reviewing the data, I was able to get a better idea of how many people visit the barbershop on a given day, which was a problem I was trying to solve.
  • Data Visualization
  • Internet Bandwidth Usage
  • Internet Management
  • Better Notifications
  • Recommendations
CMG is well suited for a place that has a lot of traffic where waiting is involved. At my barbershop, while people are waiting for services, having WiFi is ideal. The more folks in the office, the more bandwidth usage. Being able to control how people use the internet is ideal and can help save your company from streaming and buffering issues due to lack of bandwidth.
By better understanding the data and how my internet is used, I have a better idea of what internet packages best support my business. I am now able to control how the internet gets used. I can now provide better entertainment via streaming services, uninterrupted.
I am not aware of other products, currently.

It is being used across the whole organization. It's a cheap, basic SD-WAN solution for us and works very well.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Number of tunnels.
  • Security.
Cisco Meraki Go is very good for retail companies and basic configurations. It's super easy to deploy and its dashboard is very friendly to use. There is no need to be a techie in order to use this technology!
It's good, it can be better, but it's good. We had problems with Outlook 365 disconnecting and their support wasn't able to help us. We spent a few hours on the phone and finally, one of our NOC guys decided to change the MTU. I'm sure their support is good, I just think that this time we didn't find the right person.

We use Cisco Meraki Go as an MDM solution to support mobile devices and network locations database and maintenance. It is being used for the whole organization, and we use free MDM setup to manage mobile devices, push policies and configurations, monitor location, OS versions, setup and removal of email, full or selective wipe.
  • Easy to enroll devices.
  • Easy to manage all devices on dashboard.
  • Location services are very approximate.
  • Creating configuration profiles is complicated.
Cisco Meraki Go is well suited to monitor network locations and equipment, MDM solution for businesses if not needed to push many configuration profiles. Company mobile devices to push security policies and monitor devices, OS versions, and remove a pin, reset, selective, and full wipe of devices. US made software, appropriate to use for government contractors.
We use the free version of Cisco Meraki Go and support is not part of the plan, takes time to reach tech support or sales person to discuss issues and challenges and figure out what discount we can get.
