We are a corporate sector, and a vigorous network communication medium is always needed in order to communicate with external vendors. It is quite simple and easy to configure and takes only a few minutes to get the work done. The wi-fi architecture has been simplified and modified to a great extent and is smartly designed for small to medium deployments. Because of its high speed and efficiency, it has resolved a lot of network communication issues.

Cisco Mobility Express review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used in the management building of my factory. The best and useful part [would be] if my one [Cisco] Mobility Express failed, it will automatically be switched to another AP as a Controller. We do not need a separate controller with [Cisco] Mobility Express.

Pros

  • Interference mitigation
  • New update provides bandwidth control at all levels
  • Radius integration

Cons

  • Hostnames should be resolved properly against each device
  • 4 band of optimization is not good as compared to WLC
  • Software updates should be easy and simple

Return on Investment

  • The AP on which Cisco ME is running are rugged and very durable, due to which my investment is secure
  • As it supports all types of wireless standards, I don't have any problem connecting new devices also
  • It also supports 802.11ac wave 2 which provides a very good future provision
