Cisco Routers have so many features included, so you can configure so many things like Security ACLs, VPN, or also Routing features or voice features or the great benefit of SD-WAN. Other vendors I worked with have limitations, especially when it comes to SD-WAN. Cisco Routers are a great benefit when it comes in combination with Cisco Umbrella to access SaaS or other Web applications

I mentioned it earlier, but let me expand-- the Cisco Routers have the highest uptime and resiliency of any of our hardware devices. We check them with our vendor (Cisco-certified experts) twice a year to determine if any firmware or other upgrades are needed. We also have a yearly review to check on EoL and other issues that might arise. Of course, out-of-band or emergency patches are brought to our attention immediately, but that has been extremely rare. We replaced previous routers from a brand that rhymes with "swell."

Cisco Routers help give access to applications and data using different routing protocols or static routing and keeping the different networks separate. Cisco routers are very competitive and up to date compared to other routers. Cisco routers are able to connect with Internet Service Provider (ISP) using the default route or BGP, they help maintain the redundant network to provide better access to data and applications.

As mentioned before, the main selling point for us on Cisco routers is availability and uptime. After configuring and installing the routers, they just work and they work for a long time without downtime. Being continuously connected is key for our business, so the investment in the hardware has proven to be worth it.

Cisco Routers are designed to provide continuous access to applications and data. They provide seamless network access to applications and data. There is hardly any downtime. Even if there is downtime, they have excellent support to help resolve any issues.

Cisco Meraki MX routers work well to access applications, especially if it is in the cloud, and with SDWAN, you can access different vendors such as azure and was to mention some of the most common. It is practical to configure and with the advantage that security features can be added.

Cisco Routers are designed to provide continuous access to applications and data using dual-band radios and implementing the 802.11ax standard. The device implements 802.11e/WMM standard which provides optimized voice and video over another kind of traffic. The application QoS feature allows the admin to prioritize application-specific traffic. These features are almost the same across all other vendor's products.

All the cisco routers I have worked with are workhorses. They run with minimal maintenance. I have had power outages and the Cisco routers fire up every time. I have never had to replace a dead Cisco router. I have never even had to replace a power [supply]. The only time I have replaced one is when we upgrade to new hardware.

The availability of these devices is very high. When the solution in well designed and all the scalability and HA parameters (high redundancy protocols and SSO) are [well] considered, the access to the services and applications is very stable through the time.

Cisco Routers are designed to provide high availability between multiple links. Other routers also have basic high availability features, but they do not support high-end routing protocols like BGP and auto-failover mechanisms like IP SLA. Cisco Routers do support these features, and they are implemented very well into the platform.

They are wonderful for trying to maintain 100% uptime! I've never had a piece fail, and when it did, it gave very clear indication that failure was imminent. Plenty of time to get another, set it up, and switch it over.

We have been using a variety of Cisco Routers for a long time now, so our main comparison would only be between different models of Cisco Routers itself. It definitely overpowers other routers, which is why we have stuck to it for some time now.

Cisco Routers have been the only routers I have experience with in my career. We have evaluated other vendors; however, it was always noted that nothing compares to the reliability and well-known reputation of Cisco and their routers. I feel comfortable knowing my data and applications are securely behind Cisco Routers.

Cisco does a great job with providing access because the web console means all devices are visible at all times. This is much simpler than the standard device, which has minimal or no connectivity and on which you can only see one device at a time. The downside is that all Meraki devices need a constant Internet connection, which is not always feasible or secure depending on the environment.

Cisco Routers do this job pretty well. Device uptime and proper functionality is important part of Cisco Routers, considering the HA in devices and proper configurations, these routers do this job very nicely. The routing protocols and other advance monitoring stuff provided by these devices ensures that the access to data is continuing even in the event of link issues.

Uptime is excellent and if you configure your network correct, you have your backup routes and equipment available so any reboot or replacement can be done without any downtime for the users. Training or knowledgeable consultants are important in this respect: misconfigurations are security and/or productivity risks.
