We have several clients utilizing the Cisco Small Business RV Series routers for office security and now, mostly VPN access via the home office. It's been a useful tool after the pandemic hit. We were able to configure and deploy VPN connections with minimal effort and downtime. the main business problem it originally addressed with providing a firewall to the office(s). Now, with the VPN capabilities, it's been a lifesaver for the home office scenario my clients are faced with.

Small devices, but as an option, they can be mounted in RACK (some models). Which greatly improves the proper installation. External power supply - easy replacement in case of failure

We have a couple of older Cisco RV series units being used as a firewall and wireless access point for a remote location. It's nice to have the wireless built-in to the firewall because it only requires 1 unit to provide the internet rather than having a separate wireless module to have to manage.

The Cisco Small Business RV340 was the primary WAN router for our network. Having only a single site, it was responsible for routing any outgoing WAN traffic, as well as minimal intranet routing. It was used across the entire organization, with approximately 125 concurrent clients including BYOD clients and desktops. It was brought in not too long ago to deal with a failed router that was six years old.

For this small business we chose to utilize a Cisco Small BusinessRV180W router. We chose it for the combination of VPN capability and wireless access in a small, reliable, cost-effective platform. It hasn't failed us and enables us to get on with our business and not worry about our network infrastructure. We have a remote salesforce that is able to securely access our internal network resources from the road using the secure VPN client. They are able to make use of our file sharing and printing capabilities and it makes their interaction with internal office staff seamless. As a small business we appreciate the ease of setup as well.

Cisco Small Business RV Series is being used in our edge offices or branches. It resolves our unsecured connection across branch offices. Through this solution, we have applied a highly secured VPN. Our remote workers from each branch do not experience any availability issues or security issues related to peer-to-peer connectivity. So far, we have smooth network connections.
