Currently, we are using UCS across the board for ESX hosts, VDI for virtual machines, windows machines, Linux machines, and OpenShift. We haven't had a ton of opportunities with it. Some hardware, mostly RAM dim replacements, a couple nicks, general hardware things, nothing too serious. The benefits of UCS is that if you have an issue with a blade, you just simple profile move usually 30-45 minutes of downtime. The customers that we support internally seem to like that a whole lot, so even if we have to do some sort of maintenance, the business is also a big fan of it. So when we're doing things like firmware or there is a hardware failure and downtime, it's pretty quick to move a profile and get back up and running. Granted, this is specific to the UCSX, but that is across both the older versions and current UCSX platforms.

The profiles, the ability to take a down server, move the profile and get it back up and running as quickly as possible. Generally to a business is the cherry on top. They like to hear things that are going to be back up and running as quickly as possible because if you're not running, you're not making money.

If you're setting it up from scratch, there's some daunting tasks, but there's a plethora of guides that are available if you can find them and you're willing to read. That would be the biggest. As someone who really likes pictures and likes things to just kind of work and that is a flaw that I will admit. Once you get over the hurdle, things just kind of seem to run from there on forward. Little tweaks here and there. Like I said, once you're up and running, it's pretty easy to maintain and it's good to go.

Nothing negative yet. Only positive. We bought four x chassis in the last six months and we're on target to buy two more before the end of 2025, and we're going to be buying a whole lot more. So we're in, like I said, process of continuing to upgrade and get more UCS as we go.

Because of the nature of the business that we're in, it didn't really lessen our footprint in terms of servers needed. It lessened our footprint in terms of data center size because you're lessening the use that you need. So from that it's been great, but we require the amount of hardware we require.

I made the push to kind of not necessarily standardize it, but make it more utilized in our company. As mentioned, we're a small infrastructure team, so the more automated we can do things, the easier life becomes. I rely heavily on the automated, the proactive ticket generated that the intersite does have. As mentioned, we've experienced a number of DIM issues, hardware failures. Intersite automatically puts those tickets in, automatically creates an RMA by the time I'm notified of it. The hardware's already on the way to our building. We have 24 by four by seven. So by the time I get the email, the part is within three hours, it's in our office and I can get it replaced and sent back within the same day. So inter sites, it's great for that.

We actually need to upgrade our FIS because the X is faster than our FIS. So that's coming in the next couple months.

Nice options for chassis. However, we have several quality issues with brand new M-7 blades that have many part failures or even DOA after only a few days of use or less. But with the ones that are working, they do seem to work pretty well. The management of the chassis is much better than the M5 series.

Being able to reduce overall footprint since we can do more with an M7 vs M5 blade. Chassis are able to be managed better. Overall capacity is much greater then M5 series chassis and blades. I can't think of much else to say to fill up at least 50 words.

IMM and Intersight are easier to manage our environment. It does take some learning curve from going from UCS Manager or UCS Central managed environments. Our overall foot print is reduced by the larger capacity of the M7 verses the M5 platforms. I can't think of anything else to say at this time.

We use Cisco UCS X-Series as a refresh to enterprise servers. It solves the applications need on the latest technology available for security, compliance. The scope is to refresh the physical server to a modular server and virtualize all incoming application host. Also with the intersight, provide a single management for all ther servers and can be managed in the cloud.

Having lesser time on finding the configuration to scale and manage servers and application the organization have and which saves cost on the operational expenses of the organization.

Cisco intersight is the cloud management solution of cisco for their data center portfolio. Having Cisco UCS X-Series managed by the cisco intersight simplifies the tasks on deployment and operations in the data center. Enables integration to platforms like ansible and terraform for automation and having all your managed servers across your multiple sites in a single dashboard.

Cisco UCS X-Series uses the latest data center technology like cpus, ssd, memory, and gpu to provide a high speed processing that modern applications needs. Cisco UCS X-Series modularity helps us to scale out easily by just adding nodes on the UCS x chassis. And with the Cisco intersight we can create templates to configure our servers

Cisco UCS X-Series is our primary platform for compute which has allowed us to better consolidate our server footprint while providing increased performance and the ability to have GPUs. The ability to have GPUs associated with the blades has allowed us to reduce the amount of C-series servers needed and the associated port count allowing for increased ROI during our refresh.

We were able to remove half a rack of C-series servers and replace them with fewer Cisco UCS X-Series blades managed via Intersight. The deployment of the new systems was about 1/3 the time of previous deployments.

We have observed a greater power savings during off peak workloads since implementing Cisco UCS X-Series blades.

The networing capability of this prosuct is great and has really developed our IT infrastructure. It is the central location for our servers providing data analysis centre. It has great speed that can implement any type of workload with the help of Cisco Intersight. It is easy to integrate with our applications and learn how it works. The cloud servers are customizable and can sustain multiple volumes of workloads under our command.

The creation of modern data management servers using powerful systems has given our teammembers easy time to operate on virtualized workloads. The operation of simplified system is easy as compared to multiple system.

It has automated most processes of running data from all departments. The system monitors workloads in our organization and networking connection to cloud servers. We can easily customize the file storage tools to sustain all our workloads. It has big data clusters that gives it power to work on any volume of data input and output.

It is expandable and can easily respond to our system demands. It has powerful GPU accelerated AI/ML that can work on any volume of workloads under enterprise applications. Integration of this platform with our applications has been compatible with our workflow systems incresing compliance chances.
