Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul (formerly known as Fluidmesh) is wireless technology that helps users achieve fiberlike performance for mission-critical applications. Like 5G URLLC, it features ultra-low latency to enable the most demanding real-time applications. Like fiber, it offers reliable broadband connectivity. It is presented as a solution that easy to deploy, maintain, and operate, making it the ideal choice for IT and OT backhaul.

We have deployed this product as backhaul communications on the History Campus of a city where it is difficult to do any civil work to install fiber.
  • It has a very low delay compared to other Wireless Technologies for p2p communications.
  • It is reliable even when it works within a band already used for other technologies.
  • It is secure, the communications is encrypted.
  • It could have a dashboard for monitoring performance of the communication.
  • The dashboard is simple to use but it can be improve on the UX/UI.
Cities where there are historical places that can't be destroyed by civil works. CURWB can help to deploy fast communication without fiber.
  • Rapid deployment.
  • Lower cost than fiber.
  • Coverage and security.
  • Most of the clients are public.
  • There is a breach on private sector in our country.
Since Cisco acquired Fluidmesh, they are deploying new and better features that can be very useful.
