The usability part of Cisco Unified Communications Manager is very much simple from a usability point of view. Day-to-day Move Add Change Delete (MACD) can be performed by the administrators very easily with simple training.

From the initial deployment point of view, some of the thing can be improved to simplify the process.

* Even with advanced versions, the number of bugs that keep popping up lead to newer patches and hence leading to various change cycles to upgrade the base version with the new service releases
* This leads to many operational interruptions
* Jabber services are still unreliable
* MRA phones are also not the easiest to use even with a good bandwidth internet

Although it's very easy to use, once you understand the concepts of IP telephony, as I said before, I think Cisco could have improved the management interface of the platform, adding modern technologies and the design language of the other platforms like DNA Center, etc. This interface hasn't had a substantial improvement for about 10 years.
