- They have packages for press releases if you use those frequently
- The press release packages are used or lose for a year so could work negatively if you don't use them up

The best media database software there is, but room for improvement in other offerings
- There is a clear positive ROI with Cision, given its capabilities within the media research category. We've tested offerings from competitive companies and none compare.
- We did pay for Cision's media monitoring and reporting suite for a short time, but we found alternatives that better suited our needs.

PR Simplicity with Great Reach!
- Positive inbound lead generation - Customers are learning about our game-changing IP development and products through reputable news sources because of Cision Communications Cloud. This has [led] to both ROI and an expanded belief in our capabilities.
- Unfortunately, after many years, we will not be renewing our contract due to the high cost.
- [I feel] other media platforms are offering similar solutions at much lower price points.
- We wouldn't be able to function as a PR firm without this sort of database.

- Although not inexpensive for an emerging start-up, we have been subscribing for over three years now and have always seen a good ROI.
- It's improved our ability to track media placements, which helped determine the effectiveness of our outreach and allowed us to more easily show off the placements we earned.
- It's critical for directly connecting with journalists to whom your releases are most relevant.

Cision Communications Cloud is the Right Choice
- Cision Communications Cloud is great for research, trends and SEO to help generate new business and keep current clients
- PRWeb lost several partners in the past year including Business Journals so the syndicated numbers we were able to show in 2018/2019 compared to 2019/2020 is lower. The partners they were replaced with are not as large.
- As a small business, you get lost among the big players.

So far so good!
- Our press release distributed through Cision Communications Cloud was picked up by around 15 small sources; however, we haven't seen a clear increase in sales or traffic due to that. ROI hasn't been clear up to this point.

Building better media lists
- It seems as though media pickups have overall been down this year, perhaps related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Cision Communications Cloud has enabled us to develop numerous localized media lists for press releases, especially on grant recipients. These localized press releases have generated the best pickups that go beyond our KPIs (key performance indicators).
- The ability to save media lists provide a great starting point for developing future lists. The "talking about" helps to see what media contacts are talking about, and whether they might potentially be interested in our news release.
