Classtime has garnered positive feedback from users, with many reporting that it saves them a significant amount of time in creating and grading tests. Teachers appreciate the ability to monitor their students' performance in real time and provide instant feedback, making Classtime a valuable tool for both practice and closing the class in a fun way. The platform's features, such as the ability to see student answers in real time, deactivate questions, and provide instant solutions, have been highly valued by users. Classtime has also proven to be effective in preventing cheating and has been particularly useful in virtual classes for evaluations and activities.

The customer service provided by Valentin has received praise and has been described as helpful, while the product itself is seen as excellent. Additionally, colleagues have expressed their appreciation for Classtime and the presenter who introduced it to their school. Users have found Classtime to efficiently track student responses and improve time management in evaluating their work, saving about 70% of time in correcting exams and helping meet assessment documentation requirements. The user-friendly interface and numerous features of Classtime have also been praised, particularly for creating grade-level specific content in subjects like Mathematics and English.

Classtime has successfully motivated students to work on math problems and reach class goals. It has been a valuable tool for teachers of ELD and AP Spanish, providing different ways to differentiate instruction and save time in lesson planning. The flexibility provided by Classtime has been appreciated by teachers in different grade levels, positively impacting the way of teaching during online education as well as after returning to school. Some users have found Classtime to be timely, relevant, and helpful for various educational purposes such as collecting data quickly, promoting metacognitive practices, hosting escape rooms, practicing SAT and academic vocabulary, preparing students for high-stakes testing, delivering online lessons, engaging students with animations and puzzles. However, some users have encountered issues with the payment portal, particularly for international users. While Classtime is useful for preliminary exams and daily evaluation, it may not be as helpful for advanced science and engineering courses. Nonetheless, overall, Classtime has been praised as a valuable tool that saves time in grading and makes quizzes more enjoyable for students while providing teachers with the necessary features to enhance their teaching experience.

I use Classtime in three important ways.
  1. It is a fantastic tool for preparing students for high-stakes testing. It provides teachers with easy-to-use tools that help them make a myriad of question types such as multiple correct answers, highlightable text, table questions, hot spot questions, etc. It allows early elementary teachers to input videos and add audio files so kids can have the questions read to them.
  2. During distance learning, it has been a tremendous tool for delivering online lessons using direct instruction. I can deliver the beginning of the lesson using my Google Slides deck and then send them to Classtime where I can immediately check for understanding. As students answer questions, I can see them answer in realtime. I can also send private messages to each student via Classtime's chat. Many teachers have difficulty holding their students accountable via computer but Classtime allows them to immediately check and see who is participating in the lesson.
  3. It is one of the only sites that mixes testing with engagement with their animations and puzzles.

  • It has three different types of engagement activities for students as they are answering questions.
  • It gives immediate data that can be acted upon.
  • It is easy to find materials to use in their library with their search engine.
  • It is very easy to include multimedia material like images, gifs, videos, and audio files.
  • The test-making interface is extremely easy to use.
  • It is easy to print out data that can be used to analyze with a grade-level team or with parents.
  • It has a Google, Microsoft, and Clever interface, making it easy for students to access.
  • It needs to expand its library of usable question sets.
Suitable:
  • Distance learning for formative assessment
  • In-class quizzes
  • Tickets out the door to check on the day's understanding
  • Homework
  • Grade-level common assessments
  • High-stakes test prep
  • It has helped us during in-classroom demonstration lessons.
  • It has helped us with our training on strategic thinking in math.
  • It has given us an outlet to share our test creation skills, which we can model to districts.
I have used Edpuzzle, Quizizz, Kahoot, Khan Academy, and Edcite. I use all of them at varying times, depending on my needs. I use Classtime more than any of them because of its versatility of question types and its engagement tools. I also appreciate the ease of making and giving out tests.
