What is ClearCompany?
HRM Direct is a cloud-based ATS developed by Clear Company, based in Boston.This product offers the full suite of features typical of applicant tracking systems: batch or mass communication with potential candidates via multiple channels such as email or by leveraging its integration with social networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn) and commonly used applications (e.g. Outlook), instantaneous posting to multiple job boards, and resume parsing. It also has extensive background checking features and approval process integration to facilitate internal communications between recruiters and hiring managers, and other features of particular interest to companies with well-established hiring procedures. Add to this that HRM can readily handle post-hire needs with onboarding automation and a rarer “social producivity” app, this platform is geared to suit the needs of medium-sized or larger companies and established institutions. From starting off with recruitment till the onboarding and performance management all we got in one window which is ClearCompany, It helps us in identifying and analyzing the performance further it makes recruiting smooth and easily accessible.
- Smooth integration between Recruitment and Onboarding
- Allowing my organization to manage and track employees/candidates workflows and their current status effectively
- Tagging feature is remarkable when it comes to communication
- They take your feedback to improve user experience.
- After acceptance of given slot of interview to candidates, the status should change automatically instead of staying pending.

Clear Company truly makes it "Clear" for all users involved!
We are a nationwide home services provider. We hire contractors for home services and employees to run the business operationally. This is used across multiple departments. We are able to quickly track, review and contact viable candidates without anyone slipping through the cracks. Everyone is able to see the status of candidates at the click of a button.
- Give the users the ability to customize such as application questions, workflows and grading
- The chat is amazing they are very quick to respond with any type of questions and they never make the user feel stupid with asking the questions
- They integrate with the big players making even more aspects of our company automated
- Reporting is good however better ad-hoc reporting or exports from individual pages would be beneficial
- pricing is usually based on headcount when not everything in the system is related to headcount. That structure could use some wiggle room

Great for Smaller Firms and Working to Grow with You
This is being used across the entire organization to support our talent journey, from initial application through onboarding and performance management.
- Seamless integration between TA and HR
- Streamlines communication through use of "tagging" feature
- Centralizes all notes/documents/etc. for a candidate
- Reporting is a bit limited - most reports require significant cleanup and/or take a lot of work to make meaningful
- Hiring Manager visibility is limited when it comes to notifications (scorecards completed, etc.) and feedback for candidates from other processes, meaning that the burden is put on TA to inform

Game changer but missing a few key items!
ClearCompany is used as an engine to facilitate recruiting, onboarding and performance management. Our entire organization utilizes ClearCompany. Every new hire utilizes it for paperwork. We use it to manage personnel files. Our entire support team has their hands in ClearCompany in some form or fashion. It helps us know where a candidate is at in the hiring process. It allows for our people management to be 100% paperless. It also allows us to run performance reviews seamlessly.

ClearCompany saved our company!
We use ClearCompany to fill our recruiting and onboarding needs, primarily with everything related to talent acquisition. It allows us to post to more than 30 job boards, and also allows our team to effectively manage and track our candidate's statuses, notes and, workflow throughout the onboarding process. Our HR team is able to sign into this cloud-based software and can run reports, post requisitions, update notes and more.
- Real-time updates shared across the software with remote users. It allows us to effectively manage and track candidates workflows and status within the onboarding process. This helps us effectively communicate and keep hooks in the candidate without having them fall through the cracks.
- ClearCompany is able to customize and report to fit our company. We are in a particular industry where our time to fill, hiring costs and other metrics vary from time to time. In order to get an accurate report, ClearCompany has gone above and beyond to customize our reports and give us the data we need with a click of a button.
- ClearCompany is always in constant communication and willing to assist. The feedback from the support team is almost instantaneous. I have the direct number to my customer care agent and her manager as well. It's nice to know they are there to help at a moment's notice. The support team has a great chat feature that allows me to send a message while i'm on the phone. They are quick to respond and always friendly.
- The newly revised interface has been helpful but at first, was difficult to navigate. Once I knew where everything had moved to, it was very easy to navigate through the menus and options.
- There isn't much else that i'd like to add to this. All of my previous issues have been resolved or shown to me. I don't have anything negative to say about ClearCompany!

ClearCompany was the ClearChoice for our organization!
We are utilizing ClearCompany across our entire organization. This system has been a complete game changer for our team. We operate nationwide, so having a system I've been able to build out to fit our specific needs is exactly what we were looking for. Before ClearCompany, and before I joined the team, everything was being handled manually and by mail. Now we are able to streamline our hiring process as well as onboarding and the integration into ADP is the icing on the cake.
- Customer Support has been right there every step of the way and makes time for my questions while ensuring I get things back on track as soon as possible if I'm having any issues.
- The platform is super user friendly. Even teammates that are not very confident with tech are able to figure out this system with ease.
- ClearCompany is constantly taking user feedback and adjusting for better user experience.
- I honestly can't think of anything I would recommend for improvement at this time.

Best ATS I've used in five years of recruiting!
ClearCompany is being used by our HR and recruitment teams, along with all hiring managers involved in the recruitment process. We use it for interview scheduling, recruiting, tracking req progress, background checks, and offer letter creation.
- Interview scheduling--ClearCompany integrates your Outlook calendar with their system, so when a candidate accepts an interview time, it goes right to Outlook.
- Communication with hiring teams is super easy in this system. You just tag a hiring manager in the notes and communicate there regarding candidate progress. This is super helpful down the road as well if you need to look back at any communication (rather than trying to sift through emails).
- The general setup is very user friendly. It is easy to find candidates, reqs, and information.
- I do wish the statuses would flip automatically when a candidate accepts an interview slot vs. it staying at pending phone screen.
Clear Company is used for all hiring for our headquarters office. It has been tested for our field offices, but has not been implemented across the whole organization. It has been a great resource in tracking applicants, providing a central source for hiring managers to view applicants, and onboarding candidates.

ClearCompany helps clear up issues with managing applicants
My company uses ClearCompany as a recruiting tool to post jobs, schedule interviews, and manage new hires' onboarding. We use ClearCompany across all of our divisions which span coast to coast to post all of our openings and to onboard new hires. It helps us better organize and manage the hundreds of job applicants we get each week.
- Ability to post jobs to multiple boards.

- The Search feature for candidates could be improved.
- More functionality for sorting job postings.

A recruiter's life-saver
ClearCompany has been instrumental to our company. It has become a one-stop-shop for applicant tracking and recruiting. We are able to use other job boards and have them intergrated with ClearCompany so that we don't have to keep looking at individual job boards.

ClearCompany GREAT but watch the contract language
We use ClearCompany to post open positions for our district, application tracking, and onboarding.

ClearCompany is the best ATS I have used!
We use ClearCompany with all departments and
markets at TAK Communications. Our managers, supervisors, support staff
and HR team members love how user-friendly it is. The texting feature is
the reason we also stay with ClearCompany. We have another HRIS
that has an ATS in it but because they don’t have a texting option, we choose
to stay with ClearCompany.

ClearCompany Comes to the Rescue
We currently use ClearCompany to help manage our performance evaluation process. It is used throughout the entire organization throughout 4 different divisions. The system provides a platform for our employees and their managers to have structured conversations around development and career accomplishments.
- Implementation Manager, Strategic Advisor, and Customer Success Managers do their jobs extraordinarily well. Their commitment to successful implementation has exceeded all expectations.
- Performance evaluation processes within the system make a lot of sense. Checkpoints are easy to follow and complete.
- They are still a young organization so further development of the platform to handle customer issues is needed such as being able to customize layouts or engage peer feedback.

10/10 - Customer Service, Intuitive, Time-Saver
ClearCompany offers a wide variety of services however our company primarily used the software for performance management. We took advantage of ClearCompany's expertise to take our paper evaluation system to an electronic interface and had great results. The implementation team loved the easy setup and the managers loved the intuitive interface. ClearCompany's customer service goes above and beyond!

Clear Company: Good ATS, poor on-boarding
We have been using Clear Company for recruiting and employee onboarding.
- A neat and organized way of tracking applicants.
- An excellent way of keeping track of a candidate's history and timeline.
- Multiple people cannot edit on-boarding documents.
- On-boarding is buggy and you encounter fairly frequent errors.

Good Applicant Tracking System
We use ClearCompany as our applicant tracking software to funnel any/all candidates that apply within our company into one area. This helps to limit the number of websites our HR team has to utilize (indeed, zip, monster, etc.) and keeps everything in one core area for easy access and workflow. It has eliminated repetitive responses by allowing for a bulk reply to numerous candidates who apply. The different workflows (which you can customize) keep candidates organized and moving quickly through our application and background check process.

- Organized workflows which are able to be customized.
- Client relationships with job posting engines seem to lack.
- Grading scales could be a bit more robust.

ClearCompany Assessment-- The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
ClearCompany is used as our ATS for all hourly and professional position openings. It helps us advertise critical staffing needs across the organization. We also utilize reporting functions to forecast future needs and aged requisitions in conjunction with our budget. ClearCompany is also used to communicate internal opportunities which assist us with Succession Planning.
- Dedicated staff to assist with implementation and questions; a Messenger option for businesses to connect with representatives
- Text and email interview request functionality for added convenience for employers to contact prospective candidates
- Less expensive ATS option for smaller companies
- Implementation can be very lengthy and not always feasible for companies looking for a speedy integration
- Functionality of program overall is very antiquated.
- Response time is typically okay, but the time frame for resolutions to issues with the system can be over a span of weeks.
- Not as user-friendly as other comparable ATS; missing a lot of basic bells and whistles that make the system easy to navigate.

User Friendly and Customizable!
We are a recruiting and consulting company and we use ClearCompany for our ATS. As a Recruiter myself, I use it everyday to review resumes, schedule interviews and document the process.
- Scheduling Interviews. My favorite thing about ClearCompany is the ability to schedule interviews, and send candidates a list of times that I am available and have them select the most convenient option. It eliminates a lot of back and forth correspondence, and automatically puts appointments on my calendar.
- We love the option to have candidates complete a video interview portion. You can customize the questions and it makes it a more personal experience.
- One of our biggest struggles is managing duplicate applications within ClearCompany, which is very common.
- We also have lots of applicants struggle with technical difficulties with completing the videos if they have multiple applications.

Transportation Industry Review
We use HRM Direct for our full-cycle recruitment process which includes onboarding for the entire company. The system is fairly user friendly for us as users. We have some issues with the applicant process as the system is not mobile friendly and makes applicants think they completed an application when they really didn't which results is missing application information (contact info).
