What is ClearCompany?

HRM Direct is a cloud-based ATS developed by Clear Company, based in Boston.This product offers the full suite of features typical of applicant tracking systems: batch or mass communication with potential candidates via multiple channels such as email or by leveraging its integration with social networking sites (e.g. LinkedIn) and commonly used applications (e.g. Outlook), instantaneous posting to multiple job boards, and resume parsing. It also has extensive background checking features and approval process integration to facilitate internal communications between recruiters and hiring managers, and other features of particular interest to companies with well-established hiring procedures. Add to this that HRM can readily handle post-hire needs with onboarding automation and a rarer “social producivity” app, this platform is geared to suit the needs of medium-sized or larger companies and established institutions. Transitioning and implementation is supported via live robust direct customer support and success consulting. A live demonstration is available to familiarize potential buyers with the platform.

No comparison. It's apples to oranges when comparing. Clear Company is well-rounded and willing to collaborate to make it right for each company. Most other platforms make you adapt to the product they think is best without individual company needs in mind.

Communication is much easier in ClearCompany; processes are less cumbersome and making changes in the system is much easier. It's great for organizations that need to be nimble or may be evolving in their Talent Acquisition processes.

We selected Clear because it is comprehensive. It also allows for video screenings in the application process and that feature saves us time during the interview process. Companies like HigherMe don't provide that. We also utilize Jolt for checklists. Clear unfortunately doesn't have a list-making feature for continual development for team members.

We went with ClearCompany based on their level of customer service. Paycom is who we use for our payroll and other HR tasks, but, the level of service and price was the reason we went with ClearCompany. They've been extremely attentive, have customized almost everything to fit our needs, and have offered training and perks along the way.
Paycom is great, but, it doesn't stack up to the level of customization, ease-of-use, or services that ClearCompany provides. I don't think we'll be making a change anytime soon.

ClearCompany is the most straightforward product I have used. Every other ATS has had too many bells and whistles that show on your website and aren't used. Many are really difficult to navigate or don't have offer letter creation or interview scheduling capabilities.

At first, I liked Jazz better. I thought the interface was easier and looked better. However, after using ClearCompany for a few months, and a few updates later, I think ClearCompany is the better of the two choices. The applicant grading in ClearCompany is much better, has more features than are available in Jazz.

We switched from Hireology to ClearCompany, mainly for the price point. We also felt that CC could offer a bit more of a custom ATS. There are moments, though, where our management team feels that they received more applicants with Hireology than ClearCompany. I think part of the push back is since we changed our process of screening applicants, though, and the managers don't get their hands on them the second they apply.

ClearCompany has a lot of fresh ideas and functionality, but the system doesn't compare to any of the previous ATS systems I have used, and this is based on basic user interfaces and ease of use. ClearCompany doesn't have options set in place to keep companies compliant, and the lack of tracking in the system leads to many problems (i.e. our hiring manager's activity isn't easily tracked, so if they change a field i.e. compensation, there is no way to track it).

HRM has been our provider for some time now. We've evaluated others recently to see what is comparable or more industry specific. Haven't decided to switch yet, but as we review products, that could change.
