Primarily for Sales but we also use ClearSlide and for presenting complex regulatory issues and for sales training.
  • Before ClearSlide, I had to schedule WebEx or GoToMeetings AND WAIT until I could present our services more clearly. Now that I have ClearSlide, I am able to jump right into my presentations when I first have my clients on the phone, which essentially skips the step of scheduling a demo or meeting. This has dramatically shortened my sales cycle.
  • Most of the time when I’m doing sales, I am presenting to someone who needs to capture all my key points and present them to the decision maker (or the Board of Trustees). ClearSlide has essentially turned me into a Sales trainer where I walk my prospects through our processes and then they are prepared to sell my companies services to the decision maker for me. This has boosted my revenue for the two primary business services my company offers.
  • I love the features where you can drop a "pin" on the various slides I'm presenting, guiding the clients eyes as I navigate the slides. This helps keep the client engaged on our call instead of "zoning out". This helps me present my services faster which saves time. Time is Money!
  • If they could have a better way to schedule meetings/webinars.
  • Allow the ability to drop "pins" on the Live screen share demo. You can only do this on the slides you have loaded on the application.

Yes, but I don't use it
Starting a ClearSlide demo is quick and easy and your prospect does not even know that have just engaged in a demo until you have already started.
This product ROCKS!!!! ClearSlide shortened my sales cycle by over 50% by enabling to jump right into a LIVE demo on an initial client call so I don't have to waste time scheduling a demo at later date. People are busy and finding a time to schedule a call can take days or weeks.

Don't use the phone service through Clearslide - you'll have a 3 sec lag and everyone on the line will talk over each other.

  • Delivery of video is significantly better than other options like GoToMeeting since it avoids upload latency.
  • Tracking of follow-ups is a powerful analytical tool letting salespeople know if the prospect is still engaged after the meeting.
  • Recording of sessions is helpful for training purposes.
  • Storage of many presentations provides a central repository for documents across a team.
  • Doesn't handle slide builds very well, so you have to create multiple slides rather than 1-slide builds.
  • Difficult to load new slides while already presenting.
  • More effective meetings leads to increased sales.
  • Analytics tracking improves forecasting through better data on prospect engagement.
Very effective tool for a sales team.
I highly recommend ClearSlide. They were not far out of Beta when we started using it and it's already a great service. I expect it will continue to improve as they grow.

  • ClearSlide enables sales people to manage meetings remotely, sharing slides, videos, PDF documents, and even live web demos. It also stores documents in the cloud with analytics tracking, so when sending follow-ups to prospects the salesperson gets reports on who's looked at the follow-ups. It also enables recording of calls for training purposes.
  • We originally chose Clearslide primarily for delivering video in our presentations, however one big benefit was the ability to track "attachments" by sending them as Clearslide URLs. By sending content through the platform we were able to track opens and how people engaged with content we normally would have just attached as PDFs for example.
GoToMeeting and SalesCrunch were the competitors we reviewed but ClearSlide was further along in developing their video solution than both. ClearSlide also appeared to have more market momentum and growth than SalesCrunch at the time.

Yes, it's very intuitive and most of our team didn't attend any training sessions.
Very responsive to our team and sought out our feedback.
It's very intuitive and simple to setup and use. The only negatives are build slides and the ability to change a presentation on the fly with a prospect.
It wasn't 100% but it was better than our experience with GoToMeeting.

Paid a monthly service fee that was slightly above GoToMeeting but not excessively so.
