What is IBM Cloudant?
IBM Cloudant is a distributed database that is optimized for handling heavy workloads that are typical of large, fast-growing web and mobile apps. Available as an SLA-backed, fully managed IBM Cloud service, Cloudant elastically scales throughput and storage independently. Outstanding Services and products!!!
- I think prices are great and fairly priced and that obviously spells good for business!
- With the other services IBM Cloudant has to offer it makes the investment solid and sound not completely safe but it structures growth in a way that makes it easier for the business to make smarter decisions based on volume.

Cloudant – I Use It With My Erlang Stack
- Uptime has been great. Only 1 time it went down and I mean AWS has not been perfect all the time.
- Scalability is amazing.
- Ease of use again, can jump right in from Couchdb.

Great advantages and simplicity of deployment. It is as I would summarize the Cloudant service from IBM.
- Since we have used Cloudant, we have increased our profit by 30% in this line of business, since the time and resources we invested in maintaining our own database implementation as a central repository has been used to serve a greater number of clients. Our projection is a growth of 35% thanks to the fact that we have Cloudant as the strategic platform for this growth.

- Negative: sometimes not all business requirements are covered or it is unknown how to implement them, but that is probably caused by lack of Cloudant knowledge

IBM Cloud Bound Services Optimize the Solution
- Probably Positive.
- It has surely reduced the time it takes to handle data from Node-Red.
- Rather than going for a third party DB hosted by some other provider, it's easier to do it all within the IBM cloud.

Best for mobile
- Positive: you can start your app at 0$ cost. After that, you can combine Cloud data with local Couchdb servers for heavy operations as export to RDBMS
- Negative: moving from lite to standard pricing plan requires to restart your app

A Solid and Performace prune DB
- This implementation reduces the retry on the cached data so it's a [decrease] in traffic and CPU
