We use Cloudflare as the primary CDN to serve the largest chunk of our dynamic and static content. Cloudflare solves low-latency content delivery, security, and monitoring for our engineering teams. Within Cloudflare, we use dynamic image transformation, country-level customization, geofencing, and origin protection, among other things. This powers most of our primary workload, with failovers on other CDNs.

We use Cloudflare as a means for many security aspects of the network. From web servers to DNS to load balancing. They have many products covering the gamut of cyber security, specifically web security. Our websites are all protected on many levels with tools that Cloudflare includes, and we're always on the lookout for their next tool. Specifically for my job, I use Cloudflare DNS protection to keep hackers away and lessen the potential of DDOS or other related types of attacks. Our websites run solid and do not go down as they have in the past.

We implemented Cloudflare initially to address denial of service attacks we were experiencing. After a successful implementation, we moved to implement their WAF, Access, and DNS products.

Their Access product has been instrumental in allowing external developers to securely access our internal web servers. Overall we have had a great experience with every product we have implemented.

Cloudflare was used to manage DNS and as a content delivery network for website caching. Used a managed WordPress hosting provider and we needed to ensure media and other static content were delivered with edge nodes for faster delivery.

Cloudflare was initially deployed as a replacement DNS provider. DNS was previously housed on-site but this became complicated and risky since it didn't provide for redundancy. We also replaced our previous CDN provider at the same time since the two work together seamlessly. We also have 50+ domains currently registered with Cloudflare ever since Cloudflare became a registrar. Cloudflare's network is beyond our expectations and this was a primary motivator to migrate many services to Cloudflare. Currently, we are testing R2 as a replacement for AWS S3, which seems to be promising at this point. As new products are released, we evaluate how they can fit into our ecosystem and work with other solutions we have in place. For example, we recently deployed Cloudflare Stream as a replacement for another paid video hosting platform.

We use Cloudflare's DNS and registrar products, as well as their Zero Trust platform. The DNS and registration are really great, and we prefer using them over any other registrar, but the Zero Trust platform has been a game-changer for us. We've completely replaced our VPN with Cloudflare, and it has been dramatically easier to use, more reliable, faster, AND more secure all at the same time.

We utilize Cloudflare to both protect us against DDoS and web attacks using their WAF, and their Cloudflare Zero Trust product to replace our VPN. The Cloudflare Zero Trust product has been easy to implement and set up rules/routes to replace our VPN. The ability to use multiple tunnels, and multiple servers per tunnel, helps us to maintain high availability and speed while also maintaining our security boundaries in our cloud environment.

Cloudflare front the internet for us for a number of portals and APIs and protect the business-critical services from a range of internet-based attacks. We saw ongoing attacks on a daily basis and could see the attacks getting more sophisticated, we needed a solution to cater to this. Cloudflare provides us with a reliable and simple-to-use solution.

Cloudflare and Warp protect our remote workforce currently. It allows users to securely connect to our work environment anywhere in the world, providing security for our data but also flexibility for our staff to work anywhere they choose. Currently looking to evaluate the new email protection features. We have identified areas that google workplace may be lacking in the email protection scope and it seems Cloudflare's new product may fit well with our current infrastructure to provide enhanced protection.

We started using Cloudflare as a way to both, speed up our (then) slow WordPress page and get a free SSL certificate. Unfortunately, it didn't manage to speed up the process as planned as most of the slowness was due to database connections, but we did keep using it for SSL and IP obfuscation where it does an excellent job. We ended up getting a fast dedicated server and switched to letsencrypt for our professional page, as the complicated system hit Cloudflare´s timeout frequently but I still use Cloudflare for all my personal pages and frequently recommend it for smaller pages with slower servers. Its IP obfuscation, SSL certificates, and CDN function work pretty well, speeding up the download of larger files, other optimizations, especially javascript are a mixed bag, breaking some systems so it's necessary to make some thorough tests for those or just avoiding the advanced optimizations keeping the default settings. It's a MUST HAVE for anyone still not using HTTPS (SSL) on their page yet and very easy and straightforward to set up, needing only a nameserver change in your domain. Despite its ads, don't expect magic though, a slow page will never turn into a quick one just adding Cloudflare unless you have a very specific slow connection for static content.

There are some scenarios where we use Cloudflare in our organization. First, since this is of course a CDN, we use it to speed up the work of our sites and their greater stability. The second use is to protect against DDoS on both sites and our corporate web applications. These tasks were successfully solved with Cloudflare.

Cloudflare is used to manage all company domains with no exceptions. All DNS functions are set up within Cloudflare including but not limited to IPs for Web pages, mail settings (SPF, DKIM), CNAME white label services, etc.

Cloudfare is used to cache our websites , It does help us to bring down the load time of the websites. It does have integrated firewall , DNS ,Bot mitigation and DDOS protection. All these are the core pillars of security. It is very easy to use and also have a great customer support. The analytics dashboard which they provide is much useful and easy to understand on various parameters. They do have excellent pricing which is more affordable. The free plan will be useful to experience their service for the first time.

Cloudflare is the best tool to hide your server IP as they are providing proxy service to protect servers and it's almost impossible to bypass its proxy servers, as they are very strong. We are using it to protect DDoS attacks.
