Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

  • Identifying bots vs human
  • DDos Protection
  • IP white/black listing
  • Analytics for traffic and various security analystics
  • UI, I know that it has changed recently
  • Would be interesting to see more business use cases that companies have
  • Maybe I miss release notes for upcoming features but seeing that would be beneficial

  • Easy to use interfaces on their web portals
  • Smooth licensing and feature addition
  • Useful webinars on new tips and tricks
  • DNS protection via DDOS avoidance on websites is amazing
  • Web tools to keep your site running like load balancing and built in DNS
  • Cost is fairly high, but you're paying for a great product
  • Upgrades to the web apps are often; sometimes, you lose features until they're complete
  • Migration over from existing tools can be a pain
  • Could use additional features related to cloud based services

Cloudflare access success!

  • Denial of service protection
  • Web Application Firewall
  • Zero-Trust Access
  • Zero-Trust Client on PCs isn't polished enough for production deployments
  • Granular access to specific resources in the portal is not possible
  • Troubleshooting Access issues requires support

  • Global content delivery network (CDN)
  • DDoS mitigation and detection
  • Highly available network
  • Fast DNS response times
  • Some features require a bit of hand holding to deploy correctly. While the documentation is good, it could provide more examples to cover additional use cases.
  • Telephone support for enterprise customers is for emergencies only, but sometimes phone conversations are better for providing clarity.
  • Enterprise lite customers can't purchase all options available to total enterprise customers. Still, many of those additional features cost additional, so upgrading to the full enterprise means an increase in base plus the additional feature (bot management is a great example). Enterprise lite customers should be able to add these services on as well but without an increase in base.
  • It's difficult to add new services to enterprise plans. It would be ideal if customers could purchase/upgrade online and sign an order insertion digitally from the site instead of having to go through customer success.

  • Zero Trust
  • Network
  • Domain Registration and Management
  • Getting started with many of these products is daunting
  • Documentation is great in some areas but could use improvement in others
  • It's often not clear what's released and what's in beta or coming soon

  • Infrastructure backbone - They have great resiliency and speed across the globe
  • Documentation - They have lots of great docs on the product and how to implement it
  • New features - They are always rolling out new features and are willing to hear from customers
  • Product maturity - Since they are new to the CASB space some of the features are still young/developing
  • Network Policy list in Cloudflare Zero Trust - it is sometimes slow to load and kinda clunky to use

  • I no longer have to worry about DDOS attacks.
  • Prevents bots from accessing areas they shouldn't, like login screens.
  • International CDN provides peace of mind when traffic might spike.
  • I am eager to see what they might be able to offer for email security.
  • Some settings appear to be redundant, or the distinction is confusing, such as with firewall rules and page rules.

  • When you need a FREE and EASY TO SETUP SSL certificate on your page (if you don't have the locked locker icon when opening your page, you need it)
  • When you want to obfuscate your webpage's IP (any connection will give the Cloudflare's IP)
  • You need to speed up the connection for static content (it will not help database connections or dynamic content)
  • IF your DNS isn't good (Cloudflare's DNS is amazing, quick, easy, and works pretty well)
  • Personalize the page's timeout (300sec fixed now, some backend processes couldn't be done and that's the reason we stop using it in my company)
  • Option to have optimizations activated in just some pages.

  • DDoS protection is automatic and well organized protection that has no analogue
  • Comprehensive WAF protection and many rules, bot analytics
  • API shield and mTLS (requiring a client certificate with each request) most demand nowadays
  • It will be great to implement a transition appliance for receiving logs from Cloudflare to use in on-premise log management and SIEM systems
  • Licensing is a bit complicated for customers
  • Missing "OR" operand in Gateway policy configuration

  • Storage is better.
  • How it protects the critical areas on the infrastructure
  • how it tracks threats and weeds them out in the traffic going across the network
  • Having the ability to see live intrusion protection; seeing the traffic piece by piece

  • Instant Deployment of new IP address (ie moving a website to a new host).
  • Caching (storing copies of information, images, etc to improve user experience).
  • Denial of Service Attack Prevention.
  • HTTPS redirects for ALL urls.
  • Cloudflare is great, unbelievable value even at free level.
  • Paid plans offer even more features at a very fair price point.
  • Very few things to improve upon.
  • The only thing that comes to mind that Cloudflare could approve upon is Domain management features could be more robust.

  • SSL management
  • Cache - secure CDN
  • Argo - optimize global network response
  • Looking forward for the finally release of R2 -- like AWS's S3 solution.
  • Pricing: We are using the Business tier. I hope there will be a Business+ tier. Enterprise has a too high price start point.
