A good abstraction over complex cloud server setups

When you dont know how to set up a cloud server technically, (The LAMP stack or the PHP settings etc) Cloudways comes handy. You can easily modify the server settings with one click.

Less Appropriate - If you want to save costs, go for direct cloud providers. Setting up technical stuff is a one time job.

Likelihood to Recommend

In my scenario (a WordPress website with WooCommerce on it) the website is always responsive and easy to navigate. It is using custom fonts and more than 10 shop products that are loading fast.

Likelihood to Recommend

For high traffic websites where speed and performance are critical. It is especially important for massive fluctuation in traffic and usage. If you don't want to be forced into an astronomical hosting bill/package with their vertical scaling(increase resource as needed) it is useful. If you're also busy and want help and additional techniques in maintaining your websites, they're perfect for that.
