Here at Everlasting Capital, we utilize CognitiveSEO to help boost our marketing efforts as well as our data management for prospecting and future business. This program has helped us obtain more business by making our marketing campaigns much more efficient. The turnaround time for spreading our product knowledge to potential new customers has been sped up exponentially by utilizing CognitiveSEO.
  • More efficient marketing campaigns.
  • Quicker response time from potential clients.
  • Easy accessibility for data management and future prospecting.
  • More mobile accessibility for mobile devices to boost on the go marketing efforts.
CognitiveSEO is a very useful tool for any company looking to boost its marketing effort substantially. While telemarketing is an excellent way to generate new business, online marketing campaigns are crucial in today's society when it comes to prospecting for new business opportunities. Occasionally it can be difficult to reach new audiences who are in fact an appropriate fit for the products you offer. CognitiveSEO helps you target market those audiences and utilize the most out of your marketing efforts.

Within our company today we utilize CognitiveSEO to help boost our marketing efforts and expand our reach on social media platforms. While we also have an in-house marketing team to focus on promotional content, videos, and social media traction, we also use CognitiveSEO to spread ads and get more direct website contact to help market our products to greater audiences.
  • Increases Website Traction
  • Helps Build Social Media Presence
  • Helps Target Market Similar Customers of Alike Competitors
  • More accessibility on mobile social media platforms would be helpful
  • Additional resources and customization options per each individual website would also be resourceful
Any business, organization, or professional affiliate whom is looking to boost their net income by networking to further audiences should look into CognitiveSEO. It's extremely helpful to have self-generated leads alongside internet generated leads both coming in to maximize potential overall. Leads are crucial for my company just as they are for others so the more revenue streams you can create by using easily-accessible platforms, the more efficient productivity becomes overall.

Better options elsewhere

Cognitive SEO is a good tool for SEO. We mainly used it for tracking KW's and the main feature for blogging, where you can use it to score your blogs as you write them and include KWs, etc. However, for the price, it just isn't worth it. We used it for a while and although it was a good product, there are other ways of doing the same job. Although this puts it all in one easy to use place, it would not be beyond a good blogger to do this themselves with their own list of KWs.
  • Good tool for tracking KW's when writing a blog post.
  • Easy to see the KW rankings all in one place.
  • Way overpriced.
  • The tools are not entirely accurate and we found GA to still be the best source for data.
If it was half the asking price, I would be inclined to recommend it. But as it is, I cannot recommend this tool as you are better off saving your money and spending an additional 10 minutes researching and using a list of KWs.
Also, the support is very poor and does not respond for days, when you have questions. So again for the price, it is an overpriced service and a poor tool that does not fix enough of a problem. I cancelled the renewal a couple of weeks before the subscription expired and they cancelled my entire account. So I didn't even get everything I subscribed to, which for me was the final straw.

CognitiveSEO Helps With Ongoing Link Monitoring

Score 8 out of 10

We use it initially in our link auditing stage with clients and on-going for link monitoring. Cognitive SEO allows us to keep track of the toxic links that pop up and the anchor text used. We then are able to build a trend line to identify patterns of outreach wins and fails.
  • New link alerts
  • Competitive analysis
  • Toxic link reports
  • Exporting data is doable but a little confusing
  • The anchor text tagging is a bit cumbersome
  • Toxic link warnings can seem a little "the sky is falling"
When we have clients that are in a competitive landscape we need to monitor their links (live and lost) more aggressively than others. CognitiveSEO allows us to get daily alerts on new links that come in so we can review these quickly and make decisions to disavow them before these links become a problem.

A unique SEO tool in a sea of similar tools

I primarily use the content optimization features to ensure our content is structured to perform well in search and the link auditing features to mitigate any risk of negative search engine outcomes from our organic backlink profile.
  • The link auditing features are fast and easy to use
  • The platform is constantly being improved with interesting beta features
  • The content optimization tool is clever
  • The interface can be clunky
  • It's a bit too all-in-one for me as I use other solutions for features like rank tracking and mentions
  • You are unlikely to use all the features you are paying for
It's a nice feature set for mid-size to enterprise SEO companies as well as agencies where you have dedicated SEO professionals. Probably a poor fit when SEO is only a small aspect of your overall job.

About CognitiveSEO

CognitiveSEO is a relatively new search engine optimization toolkit, launched in 2012 from developer and CEO Razvan Gavrilas of the company of the same name based in Romania. With an emphasis on backlink analysis and link creating, the platform also presents content and site audit analysis, keyword research and tracking, also rank tracking, all presented via a customizable dashboard.

For a small group of up to 5 users with no interest in an API, CognitiveSEO can be had for $99 per month (supporting analysis for 25 sites and tracking of 500 keywords). More costs more: for $199 sites are doubled and keywords tripled, again for $499 per month, and finally custom plans are available for larger and more particular brands and agencies.
