We utilize Concur Invoice to manage the entirety of the invoice process throughout our parent and subsidiary companies. Moving from a manual process where we were hand-coding each invoice and hoping that it was sent to managers for proper approval, etc., we are now able to ensure that not only the employee submitting the invoice has approval from their manager for the submission, but also we are able to automatically have the department heads of each cost center added to the approval workflow in order to ensure transparency and accountability in our invoice process.
  • Simplifies and centralizes the invoice process.
  • Ensures that our fiscal practices in terms of AP are completely trackable and answerable come audit time.
  • Allows us to ensure that expenses are not coded to departments in which that expense type is not authorized (e.g. we can prohibit food from being coded to a federal contract that prohibits such expenditures).
  • Very occasionally the optical character recognition process misapplies things like tax or total invoice amount (probably less than 1% of the time).
  • Setup was a very involved and time-consuming process.
  • Approvals (especially when Cost Object Approval was added) can make the AP process take much longer than the manual method we'd used before.
Well suited: Companies in which there are many departments and levels of management where consistency is required. Our agency also is subject to annual full audits; the backup and approval workflows that we have with Concur Invoice make providing documentation to the auditors a simple and straightforward process.

Probably less appropriate in smaller agencies or agencies in which there are not a high number of invoices to process.

I use Concur Invoice on a daily basis at workstation to automate manual accounting procedures. It saves me a lot of time and effort, which I devote on other productive projects.

  • Availability of OCR technologies help me standardize records and detect discrepancies on invoices when paying vendors.
  • Has a robust backend integration capability that connect with existing external platforms in our system.
  • Increase compliance by automatically identifying non-compliant spend.
  • Fraud detection is among the list of the best things done by Concur Invoice.
  • Mobile application however do not have some capabilities available on cloud-based solution.
  • Travel expense tools aren’t perfect, it requires boost from other platforms to fully automate travel expense management.
Visibility on company spend has improved by automatically infusing Concur Invoice on expenses which automatically detect non-compliant spend. This platform best suit our accounts payable automation processes and other accounting procedures such as invoice customization, general ledger and VAT management.

Concur Invoice has helped our accounting team to a great extent, as it has completely streamlined the billing and invoice management process. Both the person who generates the invoice and the person responsible for clearing and approving the invoice have really benefitted from Concur Invoice. It provides a highly intuitive platform wherein many manual tasks are automated, hence making it easy for the user.

All business-related expenses can be easily managed using Concur Invoice. The platform is very streamlined and makes it very easy to get used to. Therefore, the accounting department can easily keep track of all requests. Although, it does have limitations in terms of customization which I would say is not a very big issue for us, as most of the features already present are well suited for our needs.

We use Concur Invoice for 75% of our entire invoice volume. The only invoices we do not put through Concur have fully automated EDI invoices sent directly to our ERP. We took our AP departments from a mostly manual, paper-intensive process to a fully automated paperless environment with automated workflows.

We utilize Concur Invoice across various departments within our organizations. We have streamlined our entire invoicing processes like paying clients, reimbursing employees, maintaining invoice database, etc. It has been of great help to our administration department as they have been easily able to track, manage and approve claims. It has been a great addition to our organization.

Utilizing inefficient manual processes to manage accounts payable can impact ROI due to human errors that arise such as double payments. In our organization, we use Concur Invoice across the organization to help employees and managers reduce tedious tasks and improve visibility in spending.
  • Concur Invoice creates rules that govern our employees when spending company cash to ensure compliance and reduce fraud.
  • I do not need to keep answering door knocks from employees when they need to be approved when booking hotels and freight during company trips.
  • Concur Invoice automatically resolves errors in receivables, invoices, and POs via three-way matching tools.
  • Although the mobile application lacks tutorials to guide me when using features that I'm not familiar with, I always shift to the cloud system, so this ain't a big deal.

Excellent SAP solution for easy expense and cash management providing the best and accurate calculations. The platform also offers the best invoicing management ability and workflow easy management tools. Concur Invoice budgeting functionalities are effective, the easy real-time data analytics production and easy to custom various reports.

I primarily use Concur to access invoice copies, see what coding was applied, approval status, audit history, and payment status. At times I have also needed to support the accounts payable department and have coded invoices through Concur as well.

I have been using Concur Invoice from late 2019 at Northern Trust Corporation till now at Verra Mobility. Concur Invoice helps us to automate all accounting procedures, such as AP and AR, in one centralized platform.

In addition, the software automates processes and we no longer have to enter a spreadsheet manually to create a purchase order. Manual invoicing procedures aren’t accurate and sometimes it can lead to big losses by paying more due to a mismatch in figures. Ever since we implemented Concur Invoice, it has been effective to automate accounting processes like AP/AR and invoice customization.
  • Concur Invoice has reduced the time taken to enhance accounting by automating accounts among other procedures.
  • The process of reimbursing employees and paying suppliers is easy since it doesn’t involve any paperwork.
  • By automating invoice management, we are able to improve visibility in spending with Concur Invoice.
  • It is 2+ years now ever since I started using Concur Invoice at Texas Brand Bank until now at Dallas Mavericks and I have never faced any serious drawback. The only slight issue I ever encountered is when I was integrating Concur Invoice with Quickbooks Online, but the vendor post-implementation support took charge of that, and I was able to successfully connect the two software.
Payments can impact profitability in every organization. Yet, a lot of corporations haven’t yet migrated from manual AP management procedures. To improve spending visibility, upload documents electronically and reduce paperwork by e-invoicing, I would highly recommend them to give Concur Invoice. By doing that, they will also be able to improve customers, suppliers and employees' satisfaction.
