Moreover, the developers continuously enhance the product by introducing new features and improvements.

One of the key use cases of Contractor Foreman is its ability to schedule projects and keep them organized and on track. Users appreciate the flexibility to create and maintain project-specific notes that technicians can easily reference. Additionally, the software aids in financial tracking for each project by tracking hours bid versus actual hours worked. This feature ensures accurate cost comparisons, helping users manage their finances effectively.

All of these programs are a good fit for somebody, but what we liked about Contractor Foreman is the ease of use and that they listen to the needs we have and work to add them or fix them. The program can look a little intimidating at first but once you get it setup the way you like, you save time and money by staying organized.

We were pretty deep in evaluating Procore and it too was a pretty robust program but it was 40,000 a year instead of a couple thousand. Contractor Foreman has been great at any price but considering what they charge, I would recommend to anyone in the construction business that are doing projects that take a few months or more.

Simply put, no other software platform had all the features we needed at a sustainable price point. Contractor Foreman was the perfect solution to integrated several stand alone platforms we were using. We now pay 1/4 of what we were paying for all the other software service combined.

Of all the myriad different systems I have used over the last 20 years, Contractor Foreman seems to not only be better, but more serious and dedicated to continuous improvements to their platform. THAT will make for the best app, not just today but every year it continues this practice. This is how I run MY company and I consider it the only sane way to do so if you want to have a lifespan of more than a few years.

CF currently does onsite app better than anyone I know but it still needs work
CF has a good timekeeping setup, it needs to get better at integrating with ALL payroll companies because it's own module is not quite up to snuff yet
CF has a decent bidding module, but my own setup is still superior in too many ways to adopt theirs 100% just yet, but I'm close. (Most estimators using this level of software are not as demanding as I am)
CF is very good at uploading files, it needs to better at organizing and presenting them better and at salient points in the GUI. (It HAS gotten better recently)
CF has an EXCELLENT contact tracking system. Integration with internet enabled phones would be awesome, but I'm nit picking. I WOULD like the ability to add contact books and permissions for those books, just because I want to be able to use it for personal contacts as well!
The CF 'internal project landing page' is very good. It has an intuitive layout and has everything available to access all aspects of that project.
The CF client landing page is very good, I would like the ability to embed HTML for 'widgets' like weather and maps, but CF has actually addressed this and added some functionality on this since we signed up.

I've used Buildertrend and Conconstruct near daily for a little over 10 years. They were both pretty solid. But the price kept going up without much value being added to the software. As they grew, they didn't upgrade with the growth, so the sites became slower.

Contractor Forman has all the functionality of the others, and several other tools that they don't. There are several tools our company doesn't even use yet that look great. It's not perfect, and the learning curve due to its increased capability is a bit of a challenge. But overall, it is superior in every way that mattered to us, and more affordable.

Buildertrend is great software but the pricing is ridiculous and there are quite a few bugs. ClickUp is a great scheduling tool and the easiest to use, but it lacks most of the features of Buildertrend or Contractor Foreman. Contractor Foreman is a wonderful, all-in-one tool for a great price!
