Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

My previous organization used CoSign SSO for single-sign-on user authentication for web apps. Since the company's web environment hosted multiple apps like Concur for reimbursement processing, Slack for messages, Workday for organizational-level info, a single-sign-on feature of CoSign SSO made the login process seamless. CoSign SSO even had a feature configuring our personal apps as well, which didn't even require IT's involvement.
  • A single sign on to multiple apps
  • Easy to configure personal apps along with the organization's apps
  • Can log in via social website apps like Gmail/Facebook/Twitter
  • CoSign SSO is open source but there are limited support forums available
  • Login via multiple platforms at the same time becomes troublesome at times
  • More support should be provided to resolve errors
CoSign SSO integrates well with the WordPress platform, which our organization's employees use very frequently. My organization has a few blog posts created by the different communities out here due to which we use it heavily on a routinely basis. With CoSign SSO, integrating well with it has reduced a burden of remembering the password separately.
  • Social login
  • Single sign in
  • Integrating personal applications without IT approval/involvement
  • Single-sign-on feature saves employees time, which increases productivity
  • Limited support on troubleshooting errors prolongs resolution time
  • A single point of control to admin to manage users' access
As a user of CoSign SSO, I think my organization picked it against others as its reasonable priced. Also CoSign SSO integrates well with multiple social and organizational-level web apps, which might not have been the case with Microsoft Azure, as it would have been designed to integrate with Microsoft's suite of products. Since CoSign SSO is an open-source app, it further suits the requirement.

We use CoSign SSO for user authentication in our web apps. Our environment required access to multiple apps with a single login. CoSign was able to help in that using environment variable approach. It worked even for apps that were behind the firewall. Also integration with WordPress made the login process seamless.
  • Single sign-on.
  • Integration with WordPress and various other sign-ons.
  • Works behind firewall.
  • Supports OAuth.
  • Troubleshooting errors can be a bit difficult.
  • Would prefer more support for users where information is stored in databases like SQL.
  • More forums to discuss issues.
It worked great for a requirement of multiple apps that require a single user login. Apps developed in WordPress, some even running behind a firewall - work seamlessly with CoSign. It is obviously not required if your users access all apps already hosted on a single platform where access management is managed by, say, a Windows server.
  • Single sign-on.
  • Working behind firewall.
  • WordPress plugin.
  • Improved productivity as users do not need to remember multiple passwords.
  • Gave better control to admin as user access can be controlled at a single point for multiple apps/platforms.
  • Made it easier for company to explore more solutions without worrying about more login accounts.
Main factor for selecting CoSign was the open source. Also CoSign integrated well with platforms like WordPress which our organization users heavily. Some of our apps are hosted behind a firewall and support for that helped. We were able to find good case studies on the internet. And pricing of course worked in our favour.
Integration with multiple apps - WordPress plugin is easy to use.
  • Integration.
  • User management.
  • Error handling.
