What is Coveo Qubit?
Coveo Qubit (acquired October 2021) uses rich visitor data to understand different user segments and serve personalized messages to audience segments using JavaScript. It is available on either a managed or self-service model.
Data is collected using Qubit’s own QProtocol data layer, or by integrating the user’s existing model via our API. Quantitative visitor behavioral data is combined with qualitative visitor feedback and ingested data from Qubit users' other systems of record enabling them to identify areas of the site and customer groups to optimize and target with personalization experiences.
Using JavaScript means that changes do not have to be hard-coded into the site, giving marketers and ecommerce teams greater power to implement changes outside of the development cycle.
Users can A/B test any changes to their site using Qubit, and the user interface lets them know what the test results are.

* Maxymiser: more expensive.
* Monetate: slightly better feature set, especially for personalisation or programmatic experiences, but would have required work to migrate datalayer and reconfigure tool - however, remains a contender for the future.
* ContentSquare: more focused on visual analytics and more limited in terms of personalisation.

Powerful optimisation tool
I have not used any other similar products. Qubit was already being used when I joined the company.
We chose to add Qubit to our suite of testing platforms based on their ability to reduce our reliance on internal resources. While other products provided professional services, Qubit's offering felt more strongly geared toward an organization that needed to produce many tests without waiting for creative or development integration. We didn't replace all our testing tools with Qubit, as there were occasional technical limitations that made an alternate product more effective in specific scenarios. However, we did the bulk of our testing through Qubit during the contract.

Qubit's not me it's you.
The Qubit solution was purchased prior to my arrival in the role. I believe the company was approached and was in need of an A/B testing platform. The website had been recently updated and was presumed to have only needed fine-tuning at the time which turned out to be incorrect.

Qubit - Review of a Happy Customer
We previously used Monetate but that was before my time so it's tough to specifically compare. However, I think the fact that we're no longer with Monetate proves that Qubit has been a better partner overall.

Excellent all rounder
Having previously used Maxymiser around 3 years ago, I found their setup to be geared more away from faster moving retail. While tests would be thoroughly researched and built to a high standard, the length of time to turn around a single test was too long. Qubit has allowed us to be more reactive as well as proactive.
The decision to proceed with Qubit over other products was because of strengths on sample size and statistical significance of test results. The expertise, professionalism and enthusiam of their consultants and strategists was also a factor.
We've chosen Qubit because of the data driven approach, ease of use and the offered support. We like the ability to build some tests externally with the Qubit help.

Qubit - User review
- user conversion, vwo and google optimise
Qubit was the first CRO tool we have used, and have stuck with it, even though we've tested other platforms on our other websites. I think it's a testament to Qubit and their staff that they are still implemented on our largest website.

Qubit - saving development time is a big plus
Qubit has a nicer UI than Google Tag Manager and offers the A/B testing that GTM doesn't - but for script management, there's not a lot to choose between them.

A lot of power in a small package

Solid tool to monitor and control the user journey
Qubit is probably the most powerful tool that we reviewed. The challenge is that with the power comes a large responsibility to make sure you are doing it right and not having issues. With digital tools, power and complexity seem to go together so you have to make sure that you have the resources to manage it.

Great technology and a great team!
A couple of years back we were looking for an A/B testing and conversion optimisation tool. We saw several suppliers, all of which offered impressive technology. It was the team behind the technology that made us decide to go with Qubit instead of the competition.

Qubit Review
In my previous company one of the brands was using Optimizely, while the brand I was working for was using Qubit. Qubit proved to be so much more than a multi-variant platform. It was much easier to use - we didn't have to rely on the tech team to implement tests. This way we were quicker at implementation and we were able to make decisions quicker. Also Qubit was more of a strategic partner than Optimizely.

Qubit: powerful testing platform with a strong team behind it
We're using Qubit as a fully managed testing platform, and their account management and level of service we've received from any other contact (technical, support, sales etc) was above any of their competitors. Integration and on-boarding was well done and we feel confident that the campaigns are developed and tested thoroughly.
Qubit definitely beats Optimizely in terms of segmentation and personzalization. Regarding AB testing, both tools are quite similar.

Qubit and data driven decisions for the win!
At the time of taking the product, we found no comparable alternatives. Since then, the product has only grown from strength to strength, so it still does not have any comparable competitors that offer both the technical product and business knowledge that Qubit can. Google appear to offering a competing product which may be one to watch in future, and something for Qubit to keep an eye on.

Makes life a whole lot easier
By far the most streamline of the programs.
Ability to deliver A/B tests via the UI which means that JavaScript development is not required.

I was not directly involved in the decision-making process but understand that overall functionality, data integration, and UX testing weighed against the cost of the solution were the deciding factors.
