  • I will be honest, it hasn't really helped us target areas of opportunity as we had hoped. We wanted the session recordings to help us gain visibility into what users were doing, but it wasn't very finely targeted and it wasn't always reliable.

  • Very Positive impact on ROI as it pointed towards some specific flaws of the website. These flaws were removed on a regular basis.
  • It constantly helps finetune our website to the requirements of the users. This helps in boosting our business development efforts.
  • It helps us to remove or modify the least visited sections of the website. Thus removing the limitations that hamper our growth.

  • Crazy Egg has helped to steer our ship in the right direction when it comes to prioritizing site changes and updates, which has translated in making updates that positively impact our user's experience and conversions directly.

  • Helped us increase blog ad clicks by a huge % (I wish I remember the exact percentage, but I believe it was 300%+ or something close to there).
  • Helped us make data-driven decisions on how to update and design our website.
  • Allows us to easily A/B test changes on website and measure data-driven results.

  • Definitely the best pick for users who would like to understand the website from the user's perspective.
  • ROI for this tool is directly dependent on how you use the tool as there is a lot of data can be grabbed.
  • Please don't assume that the less highlighted areas in web section are of no use or least bothered. At times even a click might convert. So understand the tool before using it and this tool is always a good ROI if used by analyst mindset

  • It's totally worth the price and a good place to start for optimization, it definitely helped take some websites to the next level.
  • It's a great tool that you can communicate results to stake holders with.
  • I love their support and digital marketing library, it helped us educate staff.

  • The primary benefit has been in identifying what to test. It's much easier to identify what's not working when you see what's being seen and being clicked. I'd say that 60% of our new tests have their basis in data that Crazy Egg provides.
  • It serves as a sanity check on new designs. It's much easier to say that a design shouldn't even make it off the drawing board if we can show that the majority of it won't be seen.
  • It allows us to know that a new design is working. We've made changes that draw the visitor to continue and it's increased the number of visitors who will go below the fold on new pages.

  • Positive Impact: Answering questions that analytics cannot. i.e. Are people seeing the PayPal button? We can measure how many people start the PayPal process on our site. However, its hard to know if low numbers are because of low interest or because our customers are missing the option.
  • Positive Impact: Measuring user engagement for page types to determine what elements on the page are most important to our customers.
  • Positive Impact: Lower cost than competitors to use helpful engagement tracking software. Currently, we're not consistently using Crazy Egg for user engagement so the $50 a month is perfect for our current needs.

  • We used Crazy Egg to prove that a client's homepage was not working to its potential. We recommended a different layout and did an A/B test using a different software and the test won. We improved clicks by 260% and conversions by 79%

  • The main positive impact is sped up decisions about whether to change a page's layout. We can throw statistics at decision makers all we want, but one well placed set of Confetti Maps will pretty much bring an end to arguments that would otherwise be based on assumptions. Really has paid off for us this way.
