I don't think there are many folks in the security space that haven't heard about CrowdStrike, but they did come highly recommended as a partner of choice by our cyber insurance provider. We've also encountered their booths at various security conferences and read numerous articles from their threat intelligence team about emerging threats that are out there.

Introduction to CrowdStrike
Our security team was given the opportunity to view and test Falcon while researching top endpoint anti-virus solutions. Once some candidates were chosen, it then trickled down the grapevine to our team and that would be our first mention of Crowdstrike. Crowdstrike is easily one of the top cyber security companies out there as I talked to some fellow IT security members and they could only rave about Crowdstrike and how they are the best.

We researched the top products in this area. We narrowed it down to three Next-gen AV products and CrowdStrike was one of these three. We also spoke with a local partner who recommended CrowdStrike as a best of breed product in the magic quadrant. We discovered that CrowdStrike was the leader in the cybersecurity industry while doing this research.

We found this as a leader or in the top-ten solution in almost all the specialized sources like Garnter, IDC or Forrester - also we found several referrals from other vendors like Proofpoint, Okta or Netskope. This give us a lot of confidence in this solution as we want it to deploy ASAP, [because] we really need a cybersecurity strategy improvement - and CrowdStrike Falcon Pro was a suitable solution to achieve this.

I have came across CrowdStrike in multiple areas of reading and from colleagues. I tried them out due to another well known AV allowed some of my systems to be compromised with malware. So I had to find something that would work and do what they state they can do and do it well.
