Performance remained consistently fast even as our dataset sizes and query volumes grew substantially.

We haven't had any issues scaling.
We have some databases that are used for small tasks as well as others that handle all our chat traffic and they both work fine.

As per my experience, I never faced issues of scalability with Astra DB. We don't have at the moment a use case with millions of requests or users, so I can't give full score because of my limited use case.

We work with 100s of 1000s of unstructured data files, which amount to 10s of GBs. We have never faced a scalability problem with Astra.

We may quickly add or delete database nodes in Astra DB to adapt to changes in our application's workload. This elastic scaling capability enables us to accommodate growing user activity, data expansion, and changing performance needs in real-time. Astra DB has linear scalability, which means that when additional nodes are added to the cluster, the database's capacity and speed will improve accordingly.

Because it gives a high performance at a high scale ensuring data security and availability which is highly desirable in today's data tsunami.

I'm a firm believer that if we scale upto a large size in near future, Astra DB will be as easy to use and implement as it is now.

Astra DB has a very high scalability. Undoubtedly, it is the best database and also the best NoSql database. Astra DB contains database drivers for just about any language you could need to develop in. Our efficiency has also increased, and it has been really helpful to our team. It is an highly recommended database!

Astra DB is of course one of the top-notch nosql databases in the market. The hassle-free set up of Astra DB is surely makes our work more efficient. Astra DB can store a vast variety of Data in its Database and surely the best of the lot in the market.

Scalability has been a non-issue while using Astra.

The only area of improvement here is when you use the on-demand service, and you need to increase the amount of writes over a threshold defined by Astra DB, you need to contact support and also will have a defined timeframe for this increased capacity. I understood it was a technical limitation at the time.

I gave AstraDB a rating of 10 for its overall scalability because it excels in handling large-scale applications with ease. Astra DB is a high performing database and completely reliable. The fact that it is easy to integrate it has become really handy to all the employees to use it and deploy it on their own. Our data storing technique has become more advanced and Cassandra installation has become easier.

Except for the implemented guard rails, we never hit any limits - and the guard rails are either there for a reason (to prevent inefficient accesses) or can be increased by support quickly.

We are well aware of the Cassandra architecture and familiar with the open source tooling that Datastax provides the industry (K8sSandra / Stargate) to scale Cassandra on Kubernetes.
