DELMIAWorks offers a range of features and modules that address various needs across different departments within an organization. Users have found that the real-time visibility provided by the RT module enables them to easily monitor the status and efficiency of jobs on the production floor. Additionally, the warehouse management feature allows for seamless tracking of products from receiving to manufacturing, warehousing, and shipments. The HR, Time & Attendance, and Payroll modules eliminate the need for additional outside software and provide greater flexibility. Furthermore, users have found that the accounting modules, in combination with the Spreadsheet Server, enable them to make informed business decisions.

Overall, DELMIAWorks is used across the entire organization for purposes such as inventory management, sales order management, scheduling, asset management, production monitoring, training, and customer service. It offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for everyone in the organization to stay updated on the progress of specific products at any given time. Implementing different modules of DELMIAWorks has resulted in significant improvements and increased efficiency in various departments. For manufacturing companies in particular, DELMIAWorks proves valuable due to its ability to manage quality documents, inventory control, and equipment information specific to the plastics industry. However, some users have noted limitations in areas such as accounting, payroll, and HR functions. Nonetheless, DELMIAWorks remains a versatile solution for manufacturing planning, shipping, inventory control, purchasing and receiving, sales and distribution, finance and accounting functions.

[DELMIAWORKS (formerly IQMS) is] currently our ERP system, while it may be wonderful for our manufacturing side of things it is completely lacking in the accounting, payroll and HR areas.
  • I like how they show the employee information
  • The auto reports are nice to be able to set up and not think about again
  • The GL display is average
  • The entire payroll module needs EVERYTHING improved
  • Not able to do paperless paystubs
  • No applicant tracking
  • GL is dated
I think [DELMIAWORKS (formerly IQMS)] is well suited for our manufacturing side of the business. The Quality control module is great for reference and being able to stay up to par on ISO Certification.

Everything in the Payroll module takes 10 steps or more just to complete a simple task. Nothing in there needs to be that complicated.

I have not selected [DELMIAWORKS (formerly IQMS)], it is what my current employer uses. I would choose something more user friendly and has better support. Currently we can't find anyone who knows enough to help when we need it.
Because the modules that I use are not user friendly and seem to have several steps to complete a simple task.
We constantly have trouble getting support. There doesn't seem to be anyone there anymore that can help with what we need.

IQMS is OK

IQMS is being used across the whole organization. It works well for companies in the plastics industry to manage quality documents, inventory control and information about the equipment. It is not that great for HR use - does not replace an HRIS.
  • Inventory Control
  • Quality document tracking
  • Anything human resources related
It is not well-suited for HR purposes (i.e.employee information maintenance and information accessibility, applicant management, employee information data and reporting, training records). An actual HRIS should be used if a company uses this system for other business purposes. The system itself is not very intuitive either. There are a lot of cumbersome steps involved.

  • Overall it has had a positive impact on business objectives
  • Negative impact on the HR side of things
Workday is wonderful from an HR perspective and has way more functionality than IQMS. Workday is also much more intuitive to use and is more customizable to suit your needs. It has much more reporting functionality. I did not select IQMS, it was already in place when I started with the company.

Enterprise IQ review

We use Enterprise IQ in all aspects of our organization. It has advanced greatly over the years. As we implement each module for different departments we can greatly see improvements which cuts down the amount of time required to do the job. It makes everything much more efficient. It has greatly helped in distribution to stream line all of the different jobs required. We added WMS about 2 1/2 years ago which has improved our inventory numbers and has stopped the need for full physical inventories many times a year. IQMS continues to grow keeping up with the needs of various customers.
  • IQMS does a good job of responding to customer issues. Their tech staff helps with any problems until they are solved sometimes expediting issues up to testing to get the issue resolved.
  • IQMS has competent trainers that do on sight training. They have helped in this area a couple of times with implementation of different modules.
  • IQMS is very user friendly from the production floor all the way to the top of your organization.
  • New modules are very costly.
In the manufacturing setting it is very appropriate.

  • Enterprise IQ is so versatile that it has many different ways to get to the desired result. By using their software we are able to track problems area and shift our focus on the areas that need fixed.
  • Before going to Enterprise IQ our employees used to stand for hours at a computer with a pad and pencil making manual transactions. Not all of that is done through the use of scanners. The amount of overall savings not to mention the accuracy of inventory has improved greatly.
This is the only software that I have used so I am unable to rate it based on another type of software. My experience with IQ is extensive though, and have worked and learned in all areas and love how this program works. The many different modules are relatively easy to learn and they offer support if you need additional instruction.
