It is a fantastic platform for managing and collecting social media information, it integrates with multiple platforms and has a variety of features that simplify the management of various social networks. I consider it a beneficial resource for the significant time savings and improvement of our decision-making regarding the social networks managed to seek to expand the reach of our brand and provide the best experience to our audience on social networks.

  • As a business school professor teaching both MBAs and executives, I regularly use Digimind to demonstrate the power of social listening in various programs I teach. Digimind Social proved to be a solid, user-friendly tool that effectively show users the value of social media listening for various short-term (e.g., responding to angry customers) to long-term goals (e.g., managing online reputation, competitive analysis).
One important pre-requisite for any company aiming to do social listening is to have a clear understanding of the goals it would like to achieve by using Digimind Social. The tool offers great insights that then need to be integrated into strategic thinking (e.g., understanding company reputation; performing competitive or industry analyses etc.). Thinking about where Digimind social will specifically bring value in their value chain will make using the tool even more effective.
I am very satisfied by the flexibility that Digimind Social offers for my purposes. It is a great tool to generate novel insights that managers can act on in order to meet strategic goals. I also like the comprehensive approach the tool use, and I like the fact that it can be customized for different purposes (i.e., you can "train" the tool to become more "intelligent" in what it tracks and how it is coded)

  • Digimind Social is extremely intuitive and easy to use, and requires little time and training to get up and running. The dashboard is very well designed – all the data insights you need are in one place, you don’t need to wade through many pages to find the information you need.
  • Top Reputation is a great feature in that it gives you a view into what people are searching for but don’t yet have answers to; this is something you don’t find in other social media monitoring tools but can deliver a lot of value to communications users when compared with the results from social channels. For instance, Top Reputation can help you identify any issues that online audiences are having before they reach social channels, and also help you shape campaigns to match emerging tastes of consumers.
  • At this time, it’s hard to find any area of improvement for Digimind Social, especially after having used other tools, which are clunky and require more manual work to zero in on the information you need. The sentiment analysis is a tricky task for any tool and while Digimind Social is better at it than others, we hope they continue to hone its capabilities and are able to analyze a larger volume of data.
  • As a PR and social media firm representing clients in the very fast-paced tech industry, it’s important that we have a real-time, comprehensive view into what online audiences are saying about our clients so we can quickly share results with them, as well as any areas of concern. Digimind Social does this for us better than other tools we have used. The one-click reporting capabilities substantially streamlines our reporting processes.

  • Very easy navigation.
  • Very good insights for brand positioning projects.
  • Reliable classification (positive-neutral-negative).
  • Like any other tool the sentiment analysis can always be improved.
  • Digimind is a great tool to collect additional insights for brand projects (positioning, value prop etc).
  • In some situations Digimind can replace qualitative or quantitative research.
I have seen many different tools. As mentioned earlier the tool has a very nice dashboard and the sentiment analysis from Digimind is better than other tools that I have tried in the past.
Always be clear about the goals and the questions that you want to answer using this tool. The tool can replace other techniques but in most of the cases I would use the tool in addition to other types of insight generation.
