D&B is more cost-effective and is by far superior in its search and list-building capabilities. The main benefit (and really the only reason we use it) is that RocketReach has the ability to scan a LinkedIn profile and extract an email.

They are very good for targeting, however they don't provide sufficient account on the company if i were to plan a new client acquisition strategy. LI Sales Nav is also good, I like they way you can navigate a leads connections and include relevant ones from them, contact details are hard to find here.

The company information provided by D & B hoovers is extremely in-depth and in detail, the accuracy of the information provided gives a very good idea about the prospective company and helps in making cohorts and evaluation fit. As compared to other companies D & B hoovers is not as efficient in detecting buyer intent which other tools like Slintel are very good at. D & B Hoovers gives amazing company info however it can improve on sharing information about buyer intent. Sales Navigator by far provides extremely accurate information with is almost 100% accurate. However, Navigator does not provide buyer intent information.

While there are several softwares that offer similar options, Hoovers does stand above the others as one of the most accurate softwares I have used. They seem to put a lot of work into keeping their information up to date and accurate. It definitely makes the life of a salesperson much easier.

D&B Hoovers is the industry standard. To even apply for government contracts obtaining a DUNS number is required. With D&B's far reach with other products like credit, they have a very large database. Add that to the relationships they have with other service providers and it was clearly the most robust and accurate database for companies. Where it really excelled was the corporate hierarchies.

D&B Hoovers and ZoomInfo are two of the products that our company uses for company information. I think that D&B Hoovers has better information on the company as a whole in terms of business description, revenue, hierarchy, etc. However, sometimes ZoomInfo's contact information seems to be more accurate.

Neither of these options is nearly as robust as D&B Hoovers in terms of the sheer amount of business data they offer when searching and generating lists. However, Crunchbase offers the option to reach out directly to prospects through its platform, which is quite valuable, and they both offer more viable phone numbers than D&B Hoovers.

As our company is just recently trying out ZoomInfo, my understanding of the comparison is abridged; however, I believe ZoomInfo does its homework and truly keeps ahead of the most current updates in the company. In my opinion, it's clear that there is a larger team devoted to ZoomInfo's tracking and research within industry and company, all the way down to single contacts and their efficacy as targets.

The information provided in D&B Hoovers is a lot more in-depth than the information provided in LinkedIn Sales Navigator - because, in Sales Nav, you are relying on info inputted by the user. The one thing that LinkedIn Sales Navigator has a leg up on is the rate at which the information is updated as LinkedIn profiles are usually updated quickly.
