We often use Dropbox for our operations and sales for our companies located throughout Southern California. We utilize this tool every day to assist in the management of each campus, sharing all of our reports and campus data in the process. We can all share and view real-time updates on all of our campuses, which is convenient since each one is managed by a single person, the community director.
  • Live update notifications
  • Syncing updated files
  • Great IT support
  • Like to see more options for PC
  • Live chat assistance
  • Training videos
Dropbox is suited for small and larger companies as you can share and access company files. I would say it would be less appropriate for situations that have high-risk information.

to distribute strategic documents and project work amongst my team.
We use it for pricing and policy reviews, employee reviews, commission statements and other management functions.
We also use it to share retail item photographs for use in out catalogs and display materials.
  • security
  • document review
  • distributed storage
  • a slightly cleaner interface for restoring deleted documents
It is well suited for distributed organizations that need to share documents quickly and securely.
It also serves as a good passive backup utility for key files.

I love how it allow me to share and communicate with co-workers. The design is simple and easy to use but also also has some advanced features to help shape the individual experience. It's easy to also share documents with people out side of the organization. This facilitates a clean flow of communication.

Dropbox is best suited for times when you have to work in a group setting with one main document. Allowing multiple team members to go in to a document and make updates is a must. Dropbox is less appropriate when working on personal matters outside of work. It's intended use is pretty obvious.

We use it for sharing text and graphic files between our design department and the rest of our company. Helps when a new employee joins our team, they have immediate access to all of our files, from their desktop or their phone.
  • Easy to use and access, from desktop AND mobile.
  • I also use it for personal use!
  • NOT ENOUGH SPACE!!!
Space limitations make this product harder and harder to utilize, especially in a business environment.
