What is Druva Data Resiliency Cloud?

Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

Workforce mobility and the rise of cloud services is an essential part of any business, but it creates a number of challenges for IT. Data spread across devices and cloud services, unpredictable schedules, and varied network connections all complicate efforts to protect and govern enterprise information.

The Druva Cloud Platform (formerly Druva inSync & Druva Phoenix) provides unified data protection, management, and information governance across endpoints and cloud applications. Delivered as-a-service, the Druva Cloud Platform aims to simplify backup, archival, compliance, and device management to reduce the cost and complexity of protecting end user data, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve data visibility. With centralized management and self-help data recovery, the vendor states that users' mobile workforces are protected without impacting productivity.

Druva's value proposition:

No hardware, no software

  • Delivered as-a-service means leaving behind on-premises infrastructure, hardware refresh cycles and time consuming software maintenance.

Infinitely scalable
  • Built in the cloud, new capacity can be added to subscriptions on the fly without changes to backup settings, and without needing to purchase and install new appliances or software.

No maintenance windows

  • Druva maintains the data protection solution, not the customer; the platform is always up-to-date with the latest features.

Data Protection That’s Different

  • Druva’s SaaS data protection platform boasts less cost and complexity found in solutions that aren’t built for the cloud, while remaining secure, scalable and always available.

Have been a customer for many years, and we will continue to do so. The product suite continues to evolve to include innovative and intuitive features. Additionally, their support staff is second to none. They are always ready to make time for working calls, when needed, to review and optimize polices and other configurations.

This is the second company I've brought to Druva. Just today, I was tasked with recovering a file from a user that last saw it 6 months ago. I was able to restore it in under 5 minutes of getting the request. It's really that easy.

The product does what we need it to, at a price that we can afford at the moment. The licence includes some room for us to grow, but a full migration might require the purchase of extra licence.

I can't imagine going through the process of vetting another data protection software stack to evaulate if it's a better fit for the company. We did this exercise with a few other products a year or two ago and Druva was hands down the winner. Everything about Druva fits our business model, and we can effectively run the product accross 3000 endpoints and mailboxes, 300+ servers between physical hosts, on prem virtualm or Cloud systems with 1 admin spending less than an hour a week in the admin console.

The product was easy to deploy and has been easy to manage. The current pricing model is also acceptable. With all of this combined, it just makes sense to renew our subscription to the product. The only thing that may change this is if there is a product or service that we need that either they do not function with or if they do not offer.

The system works much better than previous systems we've used. This doesn't mean that we might not switch to a different service, if our needs were to change.

Druva is the only tool has vast options to protect all kind of end user data. InSync setup is not only easy to set which also manage. Cost effective as compared to other data protection applications. as they are already in AWS cloud it is not burning our pocket incase of increase in data size or device size.
