Duda exceeds expectations on a variety of levels for website development, branding, and marketing. I use it to build websites for internal and client use, and also whitelabel. It has been much easier to work with and maintain than WordPress and helps achieve great client satisfaction. Here are some of the areas Duda shines:

  • Ongoing Education for agencies and users. Anton has done what he does best and turned Duda into a go-to-source for information, ideas, and practical implementation.
  • UX - The ability to create simple yet highly customizable sites.
  • Speed - Sites take much less time to build and maintain, allowing agencies to scale and business owners to spend more time on growing their core revenue channels.
  • Reliability - From technical reliability, reduced down-time to support, Duda is a reliability option.

My agency has used Duda since 2011 and love it. We used to have 450 WordPress websites and in 2017 converted 375 of them to Duda. We have not looked back since. We recently developed our 2,000th website with Duda. The growth at our agency would have been impossible without it. The software is amazing, the support is great and the people are the best. This is a company who cares about their clients. Not easy to find that is today's world. Duda allows us to build gorgeous websites that generate leads for SMBs. My clients love that we are able to bring them this type of powerful software to help run their businesses. For us, Duda is the next great thing in website development. And gets better every year.
Pros and Cons
  • Makes editing a breeze. An edit in WordPress that took an hour takes 10 minutes in Duda
  • Embedded stats dashboard is a game-changer. Clients have real-time access to their statistics.
  • Taking a desktop site and making it gorgeous in tablet and mobile versions

We build websites for our own uses and for a number of clients, many of who want to be able to make their own website updates whenever they choose.

In most cases for our own clients, they want to update their services, post to their blog, and update their team pages.
Pros and Cons
  • Very easy for users to make updates
  • Changing the global design (fonts, for example)
  • We cn assign permissions to clients based on their level of comfort with online editing
Likelihood to Recommend
I find Duda great for setting up new custom websites for clients. While they provide a large number of templates, we can build custom sites starting from scratch, and not be dependent on a template.

There are cases where "membership" options would be useful, such as allowing members of a group to update their own profile for example, and limit people to certain parts of a website created with Duda. Fortunately, these seem to be in beta testing now for addition to their product.

  • Easy for non-tech staff to handle some of the work
  • Costs are lower than we were paying for less capabilities before we switched to Duda

  • Webflow and Adobe Business Catalyst (Discontinued)
Much easier for non-tech team members to work on building and maintaining websites. Previous Adobe-based websites clients have been very happy with Duda. Overall, clients can do a lot more on their own, if they choose, than with other website platforms we have used, or that clients have used through other providers.
