I am the only user and it is used in only my department. I am responsible for lead acquisition and imports.

User friendly & easy to navigate. I don't have a lot of time to learn brand new processes, so the ease of dupecatcher saved me a lot of time that I would normally spend hours doing manual work, merging duplicates.
"Ignore" some apps don't allow you to ignore dupes, as some may know this is absolutely necessary sometimes.
Alerts that notify SF users when they are creating duplicates.

While it is user friendly, the interface could use a facelift. Very old school looking.
Sometimes it will flag false duplicate results.
Mass delete option is not available, and would be very useful.

Catching dupes on import.

Any tool that can catch duplicates is something almost any CRM using company needs. So obviously this will always have a positive impact on a company.
I wouldn't say we had a negative impact but we were able to find tools that did what DupeCatcher does and them some with a higher price tag, but you get a lot more features, and in my opinion what you would want/need/expect out of a dupe catcher.
