We use EaseUS Todo Backup to back up our branch office servers and data stores. EaseUS Todo Backup allows for automatic scheduling of backups and provides monitoring and alerting dashboards for ease of management and monitoring. The software also allows for copying our backups to a secondary location for off-site storage and event support cloud storage. It is a very versatile tool and provides very good value for money.
  • Backup of Files and Servers.
  • Can copy backups to offsite storage and even to the cloud.
  • The software is easy to setup and configure.
  • The alerts and could be more detailed which will make troubleshooting easier.
  • The backup schedules could include more options for repeats, misses, and backup windows.
  • More support for virtual environment features.
EaseUs Todo Backup is well suited for the Branch Office and small to the medium business network. The software is powerful enough to meet most of the demands of these less complex environments. However, it may not provide the bells and whistles of enterprise software designed for highly virtualized environments.
  • Provides good value for money in the price to feature ration.
  • Provides a high ROI for small businesses that do not necessarily need to spend on an enterprise-grade solution.
  • Provides a quick and easy option that is yet reliable and easy to use as a Disaster Recovery contingency for small businesses.
EaseUs Todo Backup is well suited for the small business environment and provides a good bang for the buck and value for features. It is not as costly as the other enterprise-grade solutions and therefore fits well into the budget of small businesses. It is not as advanced as the enterprise solution, but it provides the right mix of features and functionality to meet the needs of the average small business network.

I chose and installed the Home version of this product and found it very easy to set up and run. Installation was quick and setting up the routine was simplicity itself. I don't currently have a NAS, so backup to a dedicated local HDD alongside a cloud backup solution. It's largely "fire and forget" in its operation, at least in my workflow.
  • It's easy to use for beginners. I found the UI to be straightforward and logical.
  • The software also runs in the Windows Pre-install Environment (Windows PE) if the machine crashes. Of course, you need to have backed up the drive first!
  • Backups from the whole OS down to single files is available.
  • Backup to CD/DVD, SSD and HDD are all supported.
  • Speed. The software can be a little slow, in my experience.
  • Backup to cloud services is not supported (on my version, anyway)
  • The background process slows down my computer.
Backups are such an essential aspect of modern-day computing, everyone should be making regular backups of their files, folders, and system. I found the software impressive in helping me transfer data from an old HDD to a brand new SSD. The help files guided me on the process I needed to follow and importantly, helped me understand WHY I needed to follow the steps it recommended. It all made logical sense once I understood it.
  • There's been no financial ROI for this software, but the peace of mind is priceless.
EaseUs Todo Backup is an excellent product, on par with most other backup solutions. I actually use both EaseUs Todo Backup and IDrive, as a secondary backup system. IDrive stores my data in the cloud, so I have complete and up-to-date backups both locally and on the cloud. This is much safer than relying on just one backup copy.

Everything! Sales, design, development, finance, compliance. As such, my time is limited. Having a robust and reliable backup solution that I can set and forget for a while, is a valuable asset. Just having the confidence in knowing it's doing it's job, without me having to dive into the app to change or update the settings is extremely helpful, in my workflow.

The software is very easy to use, so anyone with a general idea of how computers store files and folders will be able to use and support it. Most computer literate users will find that the UI for EaseUS Todo Backup helps guide them in the efficient use of the software. I don't think that a specialist user or specific training needs to be in place in order to get it running effectively.
  • Safeguarding against accidental loss of important data
  • Storing versions of files for later use
  • Storing versions of files to see how they have changed or been edited over time
  • Disk cloning
  • Migrating OS to a different hard disk or SSD
EaseUS Todo Backup is a superb software that does what it claims without the user needing a degree in computer science. Its plain user interface belies a lot of functionality that logically "guides" the user to making local and remote (cloud) backups of their important data. Additionally, the secure encryption of backups is just one less thing to worry about.

I use it to backup my PC's for local backups.
  • The GUI is simple yet robust.
  • It does the job smoothly in the background.
  • It is easy to use for all skill levels.
  • It needs a better way to monitor success/failure of the scheduled backups. Maybe notifications?
It works really well in residential and small business settings. The price point is perfect for the peace of mind it gives. I honestly don't see a situation where it wouldn't be worth the investment.
  • It has a large impact on keeping the business going if there is a hardware failure.
The ease of use and the price point are the main factors for my business and customers. I/they don't want to spend a lot of time worrying about and setting up backup software when they have more important things to attend to.
