Ecomdash is a versatile software that offers a range of use cases for managing inventory and streamlining e-commerce operations across multiple sales channels. Many users have found value in using ecomdash to sync inventory between different platforms, automate product listings, and integrate shipping carriers. This has proven particularly beneficial for users who operate retail stores online, as it helps them reduce the headaches associated with managing inventory levels and overselling. By consolidating data from various platforms into one place, ecomdash has effectively addressed inventory management issues for the entire organization.

In addition to inventory management, ecomdash also simplifies order processing and fulfillment. Users rely on the software to import and export orders between different backend systems, saving them valuable time that would otherwise be spent on manual input. The daily uploading of tracking numbers is automated, eliminating the need for tedious data entry tasks. Moreover, ecomdash allows users to easily manage suppliers, product inventory, pricing, and make necessary corrections when needed.

Despite its usefulness, some users have encountered challenges with aspects of ecomdash. For instance, there have been instances where inaccuracies and overselling occurred, causing frustration among users. Billing issues have also been reported by customers who were charged without receiving any service. Additionally, the reporting systems provided by ecomdash have posed difficulties for users who require detailed daily sales reports or deal with custom-built products.

Overall, while ecomdash has proven to be a valuable tool for many small e-commerce businesses looking to streamline their operations and save on labor costs, it is important to note that there are areas in which improvement is needed. Users have expressed concerns about customer support experiences where thorough reading of support tickets seemed lacking and a tendency to blame others for problems was observed. Despite these limitations, ecomdash offers a partial solution for multi-channel listing and inventory management needs and has helped countless businesses overcome the challenges associated with managing inventory across multiple platforms.

Easy Bundle and Kit Creation: Users have found it easy to create bundles and kits using the app, with several reviewers mentioning this as a positive feature. They appreciate the user-friendly interface that simplifies the process of creating bundled products.

Efficient Inventory Tracking: The app allows users to easily track inventory across all platforms, making inventory monitoring and building kitted products simple. This functionality has been highly appreciated by many customers for its efficiency and convenience.

Wide Range of Features at a Reasonable Price: Several users have praised the app for offering a wide range of features at a reasonable price. These features include multi-warehouse support, integrations, an API, kit items, built-in shipping, and more. Customers value the comprehensive set of features provided by the app without breaking their budget.

Software Issues: Many users experienced serious issues with the software and were unable to resolve them due to awful customer service. Some users reported that these problems persisted over several months, indicating a lack of timely support.

Poor Customer Service: Users described the customer service as one of the worst they have dealt with. They expressed dissatisfaction with the support staff's qualifications and criticized the slow response time in resolving serious issues.

Technical Problems: Users mentioned that new features sometimes cause old features to break and that old bugs remain unfixed. Additionally, users reported spotty site performance, slow page loading times, and file exporting delays, which impacted their workflow efficiency.

Based on user reviews, here are the three most common recommendations for the software:

  1. Use the trial version and consult with the company during the trial period to better understand the software. This recommendation is given by users who feel that the software is not suitable for their needs as their business has outgrown its current feature set.

  2. Invest in the software for handling and automating customer orders. Users find it worth investing in, as it helps them efficiently manage customer orders and automate processes related to order placement.

  3. Consider using the software if your business deals with simple standard products and has a small inventory. Users suggest that the software is suitable for businesses with such requirements, implying that it may not be as effective for more complex or larger inventory needs.

It's worth noting that some reviewers suggest exploring other platforms if your business requires more than what the starter pack offers.

While some users find the software difficult to learn and not very user-friendly, others recommend using it for placing products across platforms and managing multi-site sales. They find it helpful and time-saving, particularly with automated drop ship vendor management.

We use ecomdash to keep our inventory in sync across 6 different platforms. We have wholesale, retail, two online channels, mobile sales, 3rd-party sites, and fundraising. It has helped us massively reduce the amount of overselling and inventory confusion by consolidating everything into one place.
  • Multi-channel inventory sync: automatic depletion and restoration of inventory with sales and refunds, syncing back to all your channels.
  • Sales order and purchase order management: keep track of things you buy and sell while simultaneously keeping your inventory accurate.
  • Custom upload and export formats: you can make ecomdash work with almost any platform by creating your own formats to upload or export your data.
  • The platform is highly capable, which means it can also be confusing and there is a learning curve. Thankfully they have a pretty extensive knowledge base.
  • They integrate natively with a select number of 3rd party services, but there are some notable large companies missing from the list that integrate with most other platforms. More integrations would be highly appreciated.
  • Pricing is based on the volume of orders, with a fairly low threshold for the cheapest plan. I'd like to see more features added to the plans that cost more so you don't just feel like you're being charged for having more customers.
We have recommended ecomdash to many people that sell on multiple channels. It is too advanced for stores that maybe only sell in two places, but once you get multiple channels going, we think it's the most comprehensive platform for the price.
  • By reducing the overselling of products, we have saved time on customer service and inventory adjustments.
  • Customer service at ecomdash is very helpful and knowledgable, which saves us time lost in learning things or fixing issues.
eComdash is more advanced and more customizable than the other platforms we've tried, and pricing is competitive.
eComdash always answers our questions, and they have a call-back system to speak on the phone which is very convenient. The people there actually understand the complexities of the software and understand our problems when we explain them. Things get solved quickly and we feel like they care about the speed of the resolution.
We have had a couple of bugs and they have always been solved within 48 hours when possible, with very good communication. The engineers care deeply about the integrity of the platform.
We recently had an issue with one page that was not loading for us, which resulted in us not being able to see the status of some of our product updates. I sent a screenshot to ecomdash letting them know that it was an urgent fix for us, and they were able to look into our account and fix the problem within a couple of hours. We love this sort of support.

It is being used as our inventory management and as a product listing tool for our website and other selling channels. It is used across the whole organization and it addresses our inventory management issues between multiple marketplaces, selling channels, etc.
  • Good for syncing inventory between many different selling channels
  • Good for listing products on many different selling channels
  • More affordable than other competitors with the same features
  • The product listing tool can use some improvement
  • A mobile app would be very useful
It would be well suited for a business that is just starting out with inventory management and sells on multiple channels. They are a growing company that is constantly changing and making improvements. I don't think there is another competitor out there that can offer the same features at their price point.

It may not be well suit for large organizations.
  • It has reduced out of stock items from items selling on different marketplaces because it syncs them all in real time.
  • It has helped manage product listings.
  • There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you learn how to navigate the interface and use the features, it has many powerful features.
I have not had first hand experience with inventory management software like ecomdash.

ecomdash is being used to manage warehouse inventory and update it across multiple platforms. This keeps everything in sync.
  • Manage inventory. Comprehensive management and many features.
  • Fast syncing. Inventory updates are pushed out almost immediately.
  • Pricing. For the price, ecomdash is a good value.
  • User interface. The whole thing feels clunky.
  • Knowledge-base. Their searchable knowledge base isn't really all that helpful. It feels like it was written as an afterthought.
It syncs with many platforms, so it's very adaptable. However, the interface is not user-friendly and takes quite a bit to get used to.
  • Allowed us to keep inventory in sync across multiple platforms preventing overselling.
  • Allowed us to sync inventory from multiple warehouses.
