We use Energage once a year to conduct our companywide employee survey. It is the only third-party company we use to evaluate our employee's job satisfaction and how the company is meeting the needs from the perspective of professional growth, management, training, cultural and benefits, and other similar categories of which combine to formulate an employee's overall morale. Each year, we find the data Energage pulls invaluable in informing our company where we're doing well and where we can improve.
  • Their team answers one-off questions with immediacy, thoroughness and a personal touch. Every one I have communicated with at Energage could not be nicer.
  • Their questionnaires are quick, to-the-point yet they cover all areas of work life which makes it easy to motivate our employees to complete them.
  • The only area of improvement may be streamlining the emails they send out after the surveys have been tabulated and the information is available. We usually just want the report and because Energage does such a good job compiling it via the dashboard and the graphics, our company doesn't have a need for further tools and promotion tips. It can get confusing when there's too many options to share and/or best practices to follow.
Energage knows which areas to assess and how to word the questions so that employees understand and can share their true feelings without fear of their identity being shared, without concern that they need to sound professional (which allows them to save time and not get frustrated with the fact that they're "wasting time on another survey," and also in a way that makes employees feel as though they're participating in the improvement of the company. That is to say, that their feedback matters, it will be heard, and it will be implemented into the leadership's formulation of future decisions.
  • It's helped with recruiting. Candidates see the Top Workplaces icon on our website or they read the article and they trust that we really are a Top Workplace based on the information Energage helped compile.
  • The impact internally is immense. Our leadership pulls direct data and comments from Energage's surveys and uses it to inform their decisions and goals. The leadership also cites what our employees told us to explain why we're doing certain things as a company. There's always alignment shared when possible so employees know their feedback matters.
We've yet to look into any options other Energage because we've felt Energage has completely covered our needs over the years.

We have used Energage over the last four years to administer our employee survey. It is used across our entire organization on an annual basis. The survey provided by Energage gives us valuable data and feedback on our company and how our employees are feeling about working here. The Energage system is very user friendly and easy to navigate. They lay out the results in a multitude of different ways, which is very helpful when disseminating what our important focus areas should be.

Energage is very well suited for running employee engagement surveys. I haven't even scratched the surface of their offerings with their action tracker (to keep you moving on initiatives after the survey results are delivered) or their service team, which is always available to help you dissect your survey data and get the most out of it.
