The system’s user-friendly interface has made it easy for new users to quickly adapt and improve their skills. Despite using the software through a remote desktop connection, users have experienced no issues with speed or functionality. The software offers easy reporting capabilities, making it simple to manage and handle holding tax. By implementing this software, organizations have been able to eliminate manual work that was associated with their previous software, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity. Users have reported that the software has had a positive impact on their daily work, particularly in managing missing orders and running reports.

This software is also widely used for reporting purposes, providing users with the ability to generate financial reports for fixed assets. It offers various features such as module-wise backup, tax configuration based on salary slabs, and a fixed assets module. Users appreciate the easy chart of account option and the ability to import transactions using .prn files for large vouchers. The administration console allows users to identify active users and configure user rights for different companies, enhancing security and control over the system. With the option of backdated entry locking, users can ensure data integrity and maintain accurate records.

Small businesses have benefited from this software by reducing costs on external accounting services. They now have instant access to necessary data and can easily manage various aspects of their organization, including master data, products, customers, suppliers, purchases, sales, prices, payroll, and accounting. For organizations with complex products, the ability to create articles with bill of materials is particularly useful. This feature helps ensure that there are enough parts in stock to meet customer demand. iScala 3.2, looking good

We use iScala across all departments from order handling to shipping. The ability to create articles with bill of materials is especially useful because we have a lot of products with a great deal of small parts to keep track of. iScala helps us to make sure we have enough parts in stock to meet customer demand.
  • It's a fast system to operate.
  • The database is easy to maintain.
  • It's easy to customize views.
  • The stock control could use a history view.
  • The integration to other systems can be improved
  • The ability to work on iPad would be nice
Good for
Making quick and accurate proposals to customers. The system make sure the right discount level is applied and the proposal is easily converted to an order by the handler.

Less good at
Distributing on-the-fly information to sales reps outside the office. Maybe it can be solved by an addon but it's nothing we use today.

  • Epicor iScala makes sure everybody knows what to do and when.
  • iScala has greatly helped us to forecast future needs at the warehouse.
I have experience with multiple ERP software and I must say that iScala is the fastest system to work in so far. It doesn't have the same fancy shell like some others but at the end of the day the most important thing is the functionality and here is iScala outstanding.

We use iScala as a core application in our organization. Everything is linked to iScala. We manage master data, products, customers, suppliers, purchases, sales, prices, payroll, accounting in iScala.
  • Nowadays we have more than 50 different integrations, and iScala Service connect perfect does it.
  • Possibility of iScala automatization in iSAT brings endless possibilities to make business more and more efficient
  • With iScala Enterprise Server, it is possible easily manage multiple international companies on one platform.
  • I believe that iSAT improvement will bring more benefit to all iScala users
  • Longer support of the old Scala versions would bring more confidence for big Scala customers, because in big installations it's been very difficult and time-consuming to make version upgrades every 3-4 years.
In any B2B business, where complex integrations are required

  • In comparison with other ERPs iScala has very good cost / functionality ratio
Our sister companies around the world are using SAP and ASW, but I can say that in our iScala using companies we are flexible, fit for any business requirements, and ERP related costs are better than in SAP and ASW countries.

Even for a very small business like our (we are Epicor consultants/developers/implementers) using Epicor iScala cuts costs on external accounting services and enables instant access to all necessary data with just about 4 hours spent monthly on entering data.
  • Epicor iScala is simple-to-use and robust Microsoft technology based ERP for very wide range of businesses.
  • One of the stronger parts of the solution is using an industry-standard database that is simultaneously secure and open for queries from any BI tool.
  • Interface is simple and modern, easy-to-customize while keeping a stable kernel.
  • I have used and implemented iScala for 25 years, it has come a long way in terms of the current modern interface, but there is a room for both design and usability improvements.
  • Most of report forms are quite obsolete and usually are replaced by custom version during implelentation.
  • Color themes are great, but now we're waiting for theme editor :)
Well suited for middle-size distributor and service provider.
