We use Talent LMS as our training platform for new employees. We have multiple business training manuals uploaded into the platform that we then use for training our new employees and new instructors. We also use the quizzes at the end of each section/module to make sure the new employees have actually read and understood the content in our manuals.

This software is perfect for any company that has document/pdf-based training files that they want to convert into actual training modules for new employees. It is easy for new employees to use and navigate, and the quizzes that can be added at the end of each section/module are great for ensuring new employees' understanding of your content. It probably wouldn't be best suited if you need more interaction during your training process - but for those that just need employees to view and read text/images/videos and to be quizzed after, it is great.

TalentLMS is a wonderful learning management system and has made our compliance for training a breeze. Both new hire and ongoing training is easy to manage by using the group feature. I am able to update training and set up groups which makes administration very efficient and timely. I am able to assign multiple training modules in less than a minute by using the group setting. I love that I can set the certifications to print when training is completed. Running reports, importing and exporting data is also very easy.
  • TalentLMS is a one stop shop for all your training needs!
  • TalentLMS has the ability to export reports but I wish that their system would integrate with the one I currently use for HR Management. It would be great if everything automatically updated but I have to run reports and replace the data.
If you use modules for training, this is a great product.

[Using] TalentLMS has been a great experience. Their support is always helpful and timely and they have continued to improve the features of the product. We use TalentLMS to design products that we sell to our end customers. As part of the applications that we sell, there are courses or training and we design them on this platform.

  • Reporting need to be improve, filtering based on other criteria.
For beginners is quite easy to start creating content and courses. If you need more tools to integrate advanced HTML commands, this is not the best option.

When I needed to organize in-house training, I conducted research on various LMS's in order to find the optimal solution for the employees of my organization. The winner was TalentLMS. Of course, not everything is done perfectly here, many functions are missing, but this is a modern and well-made LMS for business.

If you need to quickly, relatively inexpensively, and have little time to organize internal corporate training, then it is best to try a ready-made solution such as TalentLMS. There are many things that are ready specifically for business and not for ordinary students, including branding and certification. If you want a LMS specific to your business, then this will not happen at all, you will have to create your own system.

TalentLMS is an out-an-out course tool for enterprises and also suits small to medium businesses where people have the flexibility to scale up the course requirements inside the organization. Pricing also works for most of the business units as it is moderately and mid-tiered price. The best thing is it offers a free user base of at least 5 users and up to a course of 10, which helps encourage administrators to use the platform proactively.

I recognized that this involves training simplicity, customer updates for our goods, the comfort of our customers starting from the system, and the setting up of a specialty to solve how EHRs train. I know that because I believe beyond the box, I am only limited by my imagination because of the utility of this method. Many LMS products are only for internal company usage. It is incredibly easy for TalentLMS to build various pathways for users and keep our training content secured with a password for confidential information.

I started using TalentLMS when I needed to do assessments on a company's staff members with regards to literary and numerical competency. I used it specifically because employees are spread across the globe and we needed a intuitive and easy to use platform that is accessible in any device. We used it to track progress, capture results, allocate learning paths and report to management.

[TalentLMS is] very useful for general and specific staff training. The ability to create courses aimed at specific positions is excellent. The features that allow for videoconferencing is also useful.
It may not be as suitable for in person classes, but that remains to be seen. When doing in person classes, it would be useful to have an attendance register function.

We are using TalentLMS for our online university where we offer a whole range of technical and official certifications and free training to educate the Spanish speaking communities on Capture, Content Management, and Business Process Automation. We needed a platform that would allow us to offer our trainings online and that could also be used in other languages such as Spanish.

  • Friendliness - The platform is easy to navigate and it doesn’t require much training in order to get started
  • Customization – making any changes to the interface and add items to the portal is not that easy
  • Templates – the templates for the certifications and portal are limited
TalentLMS is well suited for organizations looking to extend their training capabilities internally and externally as the platform is fully web-based. From the administration point of view, it allows you to segment different areas of your organization.

TalentLMS is used across our entire organization. We use the program to administer and track compliance training, job specific training, and employee development training. We use online courses as well as webinar and instructor-led courses.
  • The user interface for our employees is simple and clean. Even our least computer-savvy can complete their course requirements.
  • The interface for our human resource managers and supervisors allows them to track and monitor employee performance.
  • We have courses that are required for each employee based on their job title, and then, many courses we consider to be elective for that job title. We have not found a method to distinguish between those in order to view an employee's performance on required courses only.
  • Reports are only available by user ID or user name. We have some facilities or managers who need the user ID (based on payroll entry) and some that need names (employees they interact with each day).
TalentLMS is very well suited for employee training whether it is a small company or a large company. Courses can be created based on any type of media. This allows us to create courses specific to our industry and even our product.
When issues arise, I first consult their online library of instructions and suggestions for every aspect of the program. If I cannot find answers, I write to the help desk who responds very quickly. They always have the information I need, or they help seek ways to work through each issue.

TalentLMS was used across the whole organization for product training, compliance training, HR training, department-specific, and role-specific training. We used it to help shorten new hire onboarding, track and report on compliance for annual audits, and assist departments and individual employees with continuing education. By using a cloud-based system, we were able to train the entire organization at once, rather than relying on in-person or remote training presentations.
  • TalentLMS has a fantastic UX/UI - onboarding training took approximately 10 minutes!
  • TalentLMS eliminated the need for expensive software such as Articulate or Captivate by having the built-in option to build quizzes and tests from scratch.
  • Would love for TalentLMS to add the ability to create scenario-based courses.
TalentLMS is well-suited for employees who are working in different time zones and/or frequently traveling because courses can be accessed online or via mobile device. It's also well-suited for compliance training because of robust, on-demand reporting. Additionally, TalentLMS is well-suited for all types of learning materials: video, audio, PowerPoint presentations, MS Word documents, PDFs, and more.
The few times we had to contact the Support Team, they were always friendly, professional, and lightning fast with their responses. They always resolved our issues in less than 24 hours.

TalentLMS is being used to offer required HIPAA Security Awareness & Privacy Training classes to the workforce of our clients. As a small business, I am the primary administrator in developing and implementing the various courses we offer. The training classes address a regulatory requirement to provide this training. By offering clients an easy self-enroll process, it eliminates the need to manually enter those needing to take the training.
  • The ability to "clone" courses to make easy to customize the title for each client.
  • Outstanding Support team. Issues or problems are responded to in a quick manner.
  • The cost!! Compared to other LMS companies, TalentLMS is much more expensive based on the number of users.
  • In the administrator role, you cannot see the full name of the training program, especially those with very similar titles.
As a compliance company, TalentLMS is well suited to roll out and track training for thousands of client workforce members. As mentioned, the ability to self enroll by creating a separate URL clearly helps to cut down on the burden of having to manually enroll anyone needing the training.
From a healthcare industry perspective, the training course we develop in TalentLMS is very appropriate in helping our clients meet this regulatory requirement.
Support requests are responded to, oftentimes, within minutes. Support responses will sometimes include a video to demonstrate how to fix a problem or address a particular issue.

I used TalentLMS to build an online version of a professional development course I created for teachers. I was then able to sell the course online as a self-directed study.

  • Course management felt overly complex. Moving units around was difficult.
  • User management, particularly the funnel process of moving site visitors through the purchase process was difficult to use.
With my limited experience, I would say that it was well suited for the specific use case I was in: a solo course author creating online courses to sell to individuals. Where it broke down for me was in the sales process. I wanted more options for alerts, triggers for communication with customers as they moved through the process, etc.
There are extensive documentation resources online and TalentLMS hosts a robust Facebook community of users. There are regular videocasts, live Q&A sessions and an enormous community available to answer questions.

We use TalentLMS for our customer training program. As a paid product offering, it's critical that we deliver our training through a high-quality portal with lots of features and high service levels. We've deeply integrated TalentLMS into our other customer systems using the API and other customizations available through custom CSS and JavaScript. If you're looking for a highly customizable platform, TalentLMS is a great option.
  • Cost effective
  • Easy to deploy/configure/manage
  • Would appreciate more functionality in the area of User Certificates (e.g., ability to validate a certificate publicly, ability to lookup a user by a Cert ID, ability to extend or reissue certificates based on different requirements the second time around).
  • Some cross-object reporting is limited, which makes more complex report types more difficult. Most common report types are easy to pull and export.
TalentLMS is a cost-effective, scalable platform for an eCommerce customer training platform. Their support is always friendly, and the product is feature-rich. The plans are also very flexible (you can go up or down mid-term and the difference is simply applied to your ongoing balance). Again, it's also highly customizable.
Their support is always friendly and quick to respond. I would appreciate if they brought back the feature peer voting forum that they had before moving to a new Support site.

We use TalentLMS as the learning management system for our clients. It allows us to provide white-labelled classes to corporate clients, as well as individual purchasers.
  • The API is robust.
  • The theme customization is very good--you can customize CSS and JavaScript.
  • In some cases, the UI can be a little clunky, especially for instructors it can be difficult to get to the student reports that are needed.
  • The API documentation could be more detailed.
TalentLMS is good for quick white-labelled solutions (like if you have many different clients and you want to give them custom subdomains and branding but administer everything centrally). It is also good because it doesn't require a large up-front cost.

I'm not sure where it would be less appropriate. Some competitors may have better support for SCORM/xAPI integration and more customizability generally. The platform can sometimes feel a bit restrictive in how the classes are laid out (compared to an Articulate course for example).
Support has been responsive (usually within 1-2 days) for questions. I haven't needed to use it very much. The documentation is generally good, but could use more detail around data import, APIs, and SCORM/xAPI integration.

TalentLMS is what we use to store all of our in house training for both our employees and our customers. This system is what we intend to use to transfer all of our learning and development and knowledge center items as a single repository of information. It is being used by the entire company as a monetization tool for our external training.
  • Easy to use without an LMS admin.
  • Easy to set up courses and naming them along with creating learning paths.
  • Makes it easy to incorporate with third party systems for training.
  • Based on the features of talentLMS it seems that it better utilized for smaller companies, I say this based on the price point.
  • It seems to have some issues reading some scorom based courses.
The best thing about the system is that it is easy to incorporate and to use, it's easy to self teach yourself or use the online tutorials although they are not necessarily the best. The system in general feels to be elementary meaning it doesn't do anything particularly well and it doesn't do anything particularly bad, it is just "decent" at what it does which depending on your company size may be a good/bad thing, but like any system you need to review it based on your company needs.
The support is great, you can either go online and get the training you need or you can work with talent directly to get the support you need, they are readily and easily available and are very friendly, the support structure that they have is great. The other thing is that from a bug's perspective Talent has never had any issue so I really haven't had to use the support outside of trying to figure out how to do certain things.

TalentLMS is being used across our organization. We have developed training modules that all new hires are asked to complete on their own time at their own pace within TalentLMS upon being hired with our company. Completing the training at their own pace is a huge plus as well as saving on the costs involved with having the entire new hire group present for training in the classroom instead.
  • Organizes training into modules that can be assigned to certain users with certain groups.
  • Tracks the completion of the training modules for supervisor review.
  • Keeps a detailed record of training completed for future audit review.
  • We pay per user, not per active user.
  • It would be nice if there was a better way to export the training that was completed to file it somewhere and then delete the user from TalentLMS (to keep the per-user fee down).
  • If we could have the user complete the training and then deactivate them so that we don't pay for them as a user going forward, but we still have an archive of the training they completed, that would be ideal.
TalentLMS is ideal for some of the training that we ask our new hires to complete. It allows users to complete the training at their own pace and review material as needed. It saves on having to organize a classroom training session that everyone can attend to be led by a supervisor.
We have not had many issues with TalentLMS, but when we have, the support has been knowledgeable and efficient at helping us get it solved.
