I think it is best suited for personal use in its current state. I do think that it could be used as a live document source eventually, but they aren't quite there. I used it quite a bit for school and organizing different classes and do a similar approach with my projects now as a professional.

Evernote is a fantastic tool for managing material that you need to be able to access across several platforms since it syncs across all of your devices. This is best suited for collaborative note-taking for small groups, not large groups. With Evernote, I can not only edit the file from any device with a web browser, but you can also access your files offline through the desktop app for Windows and Mac.

Evernote is apt for small businesses or I would say people for managing day-to-day life who can manage with a free account. Its premium account is pretty expensive and better options are available who are offering more options than Evernote.

Evernote is great for making notes on the fly. The voice to text feature is accurate and makes taking a note when the thought pops into your head or while working on a task incredibly easy. I have not run into an example of where I have not been able to use Evernote when I need to use it. I find it much easier than Microsoft OneNote.

Evernote is an excellent tool for keeping track of client relationships and taking notes. The indexing is excellent, with text in images and text. However, a Wiki might be better for large-scale collaboration. It is a perfect use case for it, and it is hard to beat. To-do lists that need to be tracked or have due dates assigned do not work well in Evernote. It's almost like a library that anyone can add to, edit, tag, and reference. Evernote has a limited checklist function in terms of tasks meant to be kept in one place rather than reviewed and organized over time.

In my experience and using Evernote since along time I can very well saying that this product is extremely well suited across the devices that I use. Multi device availability is an important feature in two days era as it gives you access to your notes at the device that you are closest to it could either be a laptop or a tablet or a phone.

Evernote is excellent for pure-play keeping notes and syncing across devices. It is great when you have a large number of clips which you will need to search through at a later time.

It is not as good for more advanced functionality like check-lists and collaboration across a team (it has a "tasks" function as a premium feature... but there are better platforms if this is important to you).

Can use Evernote if a person wants to share document notes across his/her family or organisation. Save important information like documents related to you (passport, visa, ID card), emergency contact info, insurance papers, and product warranties safely in Evernote, then share the notes with others in case of emergency.
However, if one wants real-time collaboration or editing of documents/notes, he/she have to look for other software.

Evernote is well suited for situations where one has to keep notes on clients and over the years you are able to track a relationship with a client. It is great for networking, I have used it in the past to keep notes on industry events to remember the individuals that I have met.

Evernote is a good solution for note-taking and more, it supports different types of notes and sharing and discussing those notes as well.
Evernote is easy to use almost for everyone, so it can be implemented pretty easily to different types of users. Before choosing Evernote as your note-taking app, check your needs and the cost (do you need the Premium or not?).

Collaborating with coworkers while working remote. Can share notes/field notes with each other. We like that photos can be attached to the notes, saves us time and effort when preparing reports.

Also like that you can be working on a project in the office and pick up where you left off when you're out in the field or working remotely, helps employees efficiently get their work done. And since everything is done through Evernote, no scrambling around trying to remember where a file was saved.

I would recommend Evernote for someone who wants a secure and safe way to organize notes to be stored in the cloud and accessible anywhere with an internet connection. There are many note taking applications but this has been around the longest and is the most reliable application I have found.

Evernote is great for taking notes during a class or lecture and for collaborating during a team research project. Overall, I would recommend using it in any scenario that involves note taking apart from annotating a text as its abilities for making arrows and adding comments are currently quite limited.

Evernote is probably better used for personal notes than in the workplace, in this use case, it is an excellent product and hard to be beaten. However, when used in a workplace with shared notebooks, there will come a time that you will want to move to a wiki-style solution. It has great indexing including text in images, but for a large-scale collaborative environment, a wiki might be a better choice.

Evernote is great for taking training notes. It gives you a place to organize all your notes from different training courses and share those notes with other employees. I found it worked best when paired with a notebook designed for Evernote capturing. It doesn't work as well for plain paper notebooks.

Evernote is great when you have a set of specific rules or steps to follow or remember and you want them accessible and organized. Also good when you only need your ideas to generate content, or your references are images, pictures, or documents with only one page. It is a great tool to collaborate within your company, for instance, to share and organize your general document repository.

Evernote is a great personal productivity tool. It also has team collaboration features that allow the sharing of notes and notebooks. It's great to be able to store and catalog information and then quickly search or access that information from a computer or mobile device.

However, if your team has already standardized on a different note keeping program, then it may be better to just use that tool instead of Evernote. Or if you need to share information across a very large team, publishing it on a website may be a better solution.

Evernote is great if you only need it on one or two devices and you don't take a lot of media rich notes, like adding pictures or PDF's to your notes. It is super handy because you pretty much always have your mobile device available so you always have a note taking device with you, and it syncs back to your computer at your desk automatically because its cloud based.

I use Evernote to keep a note on my to dos. I also keep a note on any recurring 1:1 meetings so I recall what we last talked about, and any upcoming agenda items.

As various topics come up, I also keep them by topic. I like the snippet feature and that I can easily paste in images where needed.
I love that I can access it from mtiple devices so I never lose content I need.
I've found less opportunity around sharing unless the other person is also on Evernote.

Very well suited to individual note-taking and then being able to organize, save, and search the notes that have been taken and then be able to share notes with others at a later time. Also easy to directly add clippings from web browsers. Less well suited to working/editing on a document in a large group since there isn't chat functionality or ability to do mass editing synchronously.
