  • PDF annotation was a need most often met through individual tools, so it was a welcomed feature, and Web clipper makes life easy as now you can annotate and capture web pages in your notes.
  • Search functionality made life very easy as searching anything in the notes is super easy and reliable, and Evernote could do much more than that one task.
  • Easy template usage allows for quick project setup. The number of templates or features can be overwhelming for some team members and too rigid for some regular uses.

  • Increase work efficiency by collecting all of the notes in one place.
  • Enables you to take a note for someone else, and share it with [them].
  • Helps to manage the "not managed" issues - if you're looking at the note of all the employees work on a specific project, you might have some insights. You probably won't have it without aggregating all of the note related to this project.

  • Evernote has allowed our school's over 3000 students and staff members to work more efficiently instead of spending time on making physical notes, clicking pictures, and uploading them to the cloud in order to share them
  • The investment in Evernote Premium has also allowed for heavier files to be attached in each note such as student work that allows teachers to be certain that students have followed deadlines and finished assigned tasks
  • Evernote has allowed our school to smoothly transition in and out of online learning as the local COVID-19 protocols change and student work requires one platform to be based on throughout

  • An integral part of information sharing in the department.
  • Was free to use for most use cases within the department so saved money.
  • Information sharing on troubleshooting helped increase the efficiency of issue resolution and not having to re-learn a solution every time an issue occurs.

Evernote is a really handy note taking cloud based platform but can get pricey quickly.

  • Evernote has positively impacted my business because it is always at the ready in my pocket as an app on my phone, so i always have a note taking device ready.
  • Evernote has a negative impact because if you want to use it to sync more than 2 devices, you have to pay a monthly fee which can get pricey.
