We use EvolutionX for our office supplies business at Jenkinsons UK, and it's been a game-changer for us. Being B2B-focused, we faced a lot of headaches with other platforms, but since switching to EvolutionX, everything runs much smoother. We can quickly customize prices and promotions, upload products and catalogs with just a click, and process orders faster than ever. Our clients love it, and so do we!
  • Running a promotion is really easy and simple.
  • Product search is great.
  • Integration with many other software and services is well supported.
  • As I already mentioned some testing button for email templates would be great.
  • It would be great that there are more themes that people can choose from.
  • Even thought there are lots of training videos I would like to see even more especially on some advanced features and capabilities.
EvolutionX is great for B2B sale and can accommodate many use cases to feet different clients needs.

It is loaded with different marketing tools that can be utilized in broad meaner.

Some areas of improvement would be maybe to think to give more power to user, for instance some feature that business can have stock level for instance withing my account area and can receive notification when stocks of paper for instance are low.

We use EvolutionX as our back-end website provider for our ecommerce store as previously we struggled to provide our supplier catalogues and keep them constantly up-to-date and with Evolution X's integration of Fusion Data for online catalogue information, this is A+ content rich information that is ideal for SEO and the customer's front end for shopping online for their business supplies. The online catalogue also handles our stock and dynamic pricing, making everything a whole lot less reliant on our in-house developers and freeing them up to produce more income related projects for the company here.

  • Ability to customise your storefront to your brand and how you want it to look to standout
  • Producing invoices for orders
  • Faster processing of Fusion Data updates to catalogues when products are discontinued, put back on sale etc
For the majority of our customers they shop online, so for us to be able to offer an account walkthrough via Teams, it has been truly powerful stuff for our sales team to hop on a Teams call and run through the account functionality with a customer for functions such as cost control measures, quick lists, saved baskets, recurring orders etc. The customer can really get a thorough understanding of the features available and opt for what they need to best suit their purchasing needs. We utilise this everyday and the feedback on functions has been that they haven't seen this before from any online business supplier they've ordered with before such as Viking, Lyreco etc. It doesn't work as well for customer retention, as the orders are transactional and there are no follow-up emails you can automate as an email template in EvolutionX, this would be valuable to growing business further.

EvolutionX really helps us to bring more insights and outputs for the business, even though we are shaking hands with B2B or B2C. The sales window is much more visible with EvolutionX, and the support offered by them is just amazing; rapid and satisfied responses are guaranteed! Thumbs up for the support team!

When you are dealing with day-to day life in B2B and B2C online business, EvolutionX can make a big impact on sales and reports, which you can integrate with your CRMs, which will make your business analysis a bit relaxed. But there are scenarios where our colleagues find it difficult when it comes to EvolutionX, sometimes due to delays in support (not all the time) and with the integrations part.

It is easy to use and deploy. My team familiarised themselves with the product very easily. Gives a simple UI for our customers as well. They have a good support team, and they'll help you with the process.

EvolutionX is very user friendly for use on the back end and as well as the customer using our site to place orders.

EvolutionX is best suited for ecommerce sites. Any company that has products to sell is suited to be an EvolutionX customer. Customers with catalogs of items can benefit the most, because catalogs can be easily uploaded and maintained. Small business with one or a few items to sell may not benefit as much as larger small businesses.

EvolutionX is our customer Ecommerce platform. We use it to get our customers online to place orders & to pay invoices. Not only does it make shopping with [...] easier for our customers, it helps internal processes by eliminating departments having to spend time enter orders or enter invoice payments for customers.

Overall, I find EvolutionX to be one of the top ecommerce platforms available today. They also do a good job at continuously looking for ways to improve not only our customers UX, but ways to enhance the site for distributors such as adding analytics.

Customer support is always quick for me...may not always have the solution or answer I need, but will find out and let me know in a timely fashion.

I use EvolutionX for product and sales management. I also use it to create and manage our company's web accounts. The business problems the product addresses are problems with purchasing online on websites used by companies in an industry-specific environment, as well as helping to provide ease of use for the website for users who are not tech or web-friendly. The scope of my case is providing an organized way to keep all our accounts logged, as well as sales, product data, and other e-commerce data.

  • Quicker response times during hours of operation (i.e. support).
  • More efficient turnaround time on projects and work needed done by clientele.
They are extremely helpful in doing a lot of work that could be done by someone in my role, but rather, they help and guide me when I do not understand something, or they will complete it for me on their end. This includes anything along the lines of answering my questions, coding work, website design, and any product issues we may deal with on our website.

We use Evolution as a B2B platform for our customer to make purchases, get pricing, and manage their account.
  • The platform is fairly easy to understand.
  • Integrations with our ERP have remained smooth over time.
  • Enough customization to differentiate your site and not make it feel like a "cookie cutter" site.
  • Support post-production has been lackluster at best.
  • Most features work well, but some are missing fundamental elements. Quick lists are a prime example. Quick Lists are a fantastic way to encourage B2B orders online, but not being able to organize where an item exists within a list almost makes it unusable for a large portion of our customers.
  • No account payment options!
Overall, I think Evolution is a great option for small to mid-size businesses. We did not have a hard time getting set up and have not had any major issues since launching our site with them. That said, there are opportunities for them to expand upon some of their basic features. Mobile functionality also leaves a lot to be desired.

The main reason for the implementation is the management of content on our website and also the need to improve customer service in necessary updates to our old order management method, it is an example for the quick resolution of problems that our customers may have. without having to escalate recurring problems such as order taking and management resolution.

Mainly used for e-commerce needs. In our case, setup up multi-channel marketing campaigns, SEO, and merchandise management for B2B. Adjusting campaigns (e.g., banners, seasonal pages, and one-time campaigns), so pretty much everything you typically need for E-commerce. It could serve quite well our needs with small customers as well as large ones since we work in B2B.

  • Order management (updating it could be improved).
It's quite well suited for the needs of our company. I'm pretty sure it will also suit the needs of mid-big-size companies. There are a lot of features, it's quite easy to administrate and maintain, and customer service is nice and friendly. I would say for companies that already utilize a big suite of (e.g., SAP services) for e-commerce, then it's not the best choice to switch. Otherwise, I don't see any problems.

EvolutionX is our website store. It is super important that we have support at our fingertips when we need it. The chat box that copies to our e-mails is a lifesaver! Please don't ever change this level of service, it is the gamechanger. The EvoX team over the years has always been extremely knowledgable and available for our questions. They keep the Help Center updated for quick reference, that addresses some of our questions to the team, but mostly educates us on what's possible. Would like to see more training webinars.
