We use Expression Engine for our custom built company Intranet / project management system. Our scope-based system helps us to keep track of the work done on various projects, contractor / employee time logs, and allow us to deliver comprehensive estimates and reports to our clients. Our clients can also control their budget and prioritize the work we do by logging into our system to discuss, approve or decline proposed tasks.

Steve is the main website developer who installs, organizes and implements the ExpressionEngine environment. This includes developing the functionality based on the scope of the project. We have a Junior Developer that handles basic maintenance within ExpressionEngine and also manages the content for existing websites or enters content for newly developed sites.

At this point it's antiquated and no longer serves any major business function.
We migrate away from it and we help those who are stuck on it.
In the end we're there for providing solutions. If it's requested, we'll do it and we'll do it well. But our professional experience has us recommending against it so we have drastically reduced our use of the entire product.
