I use it for appointment scheduling, medical record keeping, and ordering diagnostic tests. As it is a cloud based system, I can access patient the full records, including medical history, lab results, and attachments from other clinics, from any device with an internet connection at any time. For myself, this software facilitates efficient and accurate record-keeping. For example, it allows me to finish my medical records at home after a busy day instead of staying late in the clinic. The support staff in the clinic also use it for integrated inventory management, invoicing, and financial reporting.

  • Notes and callback system for easy communication between colleagues
  • It has little integration with some online appointment scheduling systems

In RxWorks and Clinic-ware, only one user can access a record at any particular time. RxWorks has very inefficient and over-complicated menu that requires many clicks to navigate. They do not have a tab feature to allow users to juggle a few cases at a time, which is quite common in clinical practice. They have very limited custom templates. The visual layout of the software is relatively poor.
