FastPass IVM offers an approach to secure identity checks, protecting against social engeneering while integrating with an ITSM system.

See the integrated verification process for ServiceNow with FastPass IVM. FastPass IVM uses dynamic and contextual data in the proofing process, the data can come from many sources.  FastPass IVM can make  sure that the Help Desk identifies employee calling every time, using a set of rules for each group or operation. The scores and questions can be tailored fully and can be different from one user to another. 

FastPass IVM is available as a cloud solution and on premise. IVM integrates to the ITSM environment and allows for different identity verification questions, ranging from Okta push, Duo over TOTP codes, RSA, SMS Pins to knowledge based proofings. Each having their own scores per usergroup and/or purpose.

This video shows the Service Desk and end-user demo in combination with Service Now integration for automatically closing the ticket. FastPass IVM can change the status of a ticket, pushing it to the right que as soon as the user has been verified. 

Moreover, FastPass IVM's integration capabilities mean that service desk supporters experience a quick, smooth, uninterrupted workflow, shifting between ITSM tools and IVM without distraction. Callers to the Service Desk will, if they are doing any high risk operation need to be verified by FastPass IVM (Identity Verification Manager) before they can continue. Often users use Okta to verify their identity and the product fully integrates there.

The product leaves a full audit trail in the users ticket - this is also great for the next handler in the service desk as they can see that the user has been verified

It could be a bit faster in the interface, but it is not really a problem.
