FileWall has become an essential tool for companies looking to enhance email security. With its easy configuration and user-friendly interface, FileWall provides an extra layer of protection for end users against malicious attachments. According to users and reviewers, the software effectively captures infected attachments and spam emails that may be missed by other security measures like EOP. This makes FileWall a recommended add-on for Exchange Online, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing attachments are thoroughly scanned and filtered. The software's aggressive and granular attachment scanning capabilities offer peace of mind, addressing critical issues related to email attachment security across the organization.

In addition to its security features, FileWall is also praised for its cost-effectiveness. By eliminating the need for additional solutions, small businesses can affordably implement FileWall to protect their email attachments. Administrators find it easy to use, requiring no client education, making it a convenient solution for organizations of all sizes. Furthermore, the software comes with excellent manuals and support, ensuring that users can easily navigate any questions or issues they may encounter. With FileWall in place, the number of spam emails is reduced, protecting local computers and networks from potential malware threats. It is no wonder that many organizations have chosen FileWall to solve their email security problems during pilot phases and beyond.

User-Friendly Admin Interface: Several reviewers have commended FileWall for its user-friendly admin interface and easy-to-configure GUI. This indicates that the product has been designed with a focus on usability and simplicity, allowing users to navigate and customize settings without extensive training or the need to read lengthy manuals.

Affordable Cost: Many users appreciate the affordability of FileWall, noting that it offers more options and features than Office 365 ATP at a lower price point. This suggests that FileWall provides a comprehensive set of security functionalities while remaining cost-effective, making it an ideal solution for small and medium-sized businesses.

Efficient Security Rules Propagation: Users have found that FileWall quickly propagates security rules, ensuring the timely application of security measures to safeguard email attachments. This feature likely contributes to a streamlined workflow and reduces potential security threats.

Limited Reporting Channels: Some users have expressed a desire for the reporting feature to be available through channels other than just the Microsoft Marketplace. They feel that having alternative options would provide greater flexibility and convenience in accessing and utilizing the reporting feature.

Improvements Needed in Policy Assignment: Several reviewers have mentioned that they would like to see improvements in assigning policy per group and having it cover SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Currently, there are limitations in terms of policy management across these platforms, which some users find restrictive.

No Specific Security Issues but Room for Improvement: While no specific security issues were reported by users, there is still room for improvement in terms of enhancing security measures. Users believe that further enhancements could help bolster the overall security of the product.

FileWall is being used company-wide. It keeps end users protected from any malicious attachments. We have implemented different policies for our departments as well as for our C-level members. FileWall is great solution to protect your end-users from malicious attachments. If your company often sending and receiving email attachments (even from trusted customers, sometimes accounts can be compromised), FileWall will safe-guard your environment. Very low price makes FileWall available for SMBs. With pretty straight-forward implementation and configuration process our IT department was able to configure the solution in our system within 1 day without any additional training.

I was looking for an extra layer of security in front of EOP. I have experienced that EOP is not enough and does not block all infected files. It was easy to deploy in few clicks and was surprised that the it captured lots of infected attachments and SPAM emails which EOP did not capture.
  • Easy to deploy.
  • FileWall is a must-have security add-on for all EOP users.
  • Gives more options and features than Office 365 ATP.
  • Cost-effective solution for SMB customers.
  • It's only available on the Microsoft Marketplace. Would like to see it available through other channels.
FileWall is a necessary security layer along with basic EOP. I configured FileWall and it was very easy to deploy and manage. I was surprised that it captured lots of infected attachments and SPAM emails which EOP did not capture. It is highly recommended for SMB customers who want to deploy and manage easily and cost effectively.

  • A price of $1 per user per month is affordable because even one infected file can compromise the entire network.
FileWall provided very critical clear steps for implementing FileWall subscription. I did not face any issue while initial implementation and configuration.
FileWall has a very easy to manage interface. You can configure different policies for different types of documents and user groups.

I've recommended FileWall to my clients because this product is very simple to use from the perspective of administrators. There is also no need to educate clients about using this product because it is working in the background and clients are noted only if something is not right. Every small business organization that has a problem with email security can afford this product because they will solve many of their problems like email health/safety, reducing the number of spam emails, protect your local computers and networks from malware, etc.
  • Currently, there is no similar product on the market.
  • FileWall adds a new layer of security and improves the health of every email system.
FileWall is recommended for small companies that cannot afford expensive licensees for email security and health. Administrators will not have a problem configuring rules or finding courses for education, because the GUI interface is very intuitive and every document type is separate from other. In that way, administrators can configure different types of inspection for every document type. Also, administrators can divide clients in groups and assign rules to the groups.

  • Price of $1 per user per month is more than affordable for organizations that use Exchange Online very basic licenses.
FileWall's main feature that makes a difference from other similar products on the market is that they do not deny receiving suspicious attachments. FileWall will inspect attachment and try to remove suspicious or malicious part of the attachment, and the healthy part will deliver to client mailbox.
With this feature our clients can see that someone, maybe company partner or another client, tried to send a file which other email security solutions would mark as malware.
Filewall customer and technical support is always available and they provide customers with great feedback and full instructions how to achieve desired goals.
Great thing about this product is that you can communicate directly to product creators. If you as a client have some ideas, and want some additions, you can ask them, you will get response in very short period of time.

At first place I was beta tester of the product, and after that I've introduce this products to few of my clients who also wanted to try the product because there is one month trial free of charge. After trial phase my clients was very satisfied and they are making decision to acquired this product.
