Below are few points that Fitbit addressed: 1) tracking their sleeping patterns. 2)monitoring and tracking their heart rate. 3)keeping track of the level of oxygen in their blood. 4) GPS tracking during exercise. 5) storing and listening to music. 6) receiving call and text notifications. 7) paying for items when out and about.
  • Its really goo to use.
  • User friendly
  • Accuracy
  • Reliability
  • Overall it's a good product
  • Ability to upload GPX tracks.
  • privacy protection to it’s customers.
  • Some of these locations and your biometric response you may be ok with Google knowing so that it can personalize your ads, but in many cases you may not want your activities tracked. It would be good for Fitbit to give its customers the power inside the mobile app to sort and allow which data is uploaded to it’s cloud before it leaves their device.
Below are some good points we have noticed while using Fitbit at business level: -Motivation to Move More. -Keeping that Motivation Day after Day. -Feeling Better. -Moving Better. -Accountability. -Life Changing. -Fun Workouts. -Friendly Competition.
  • GPS
  • Heart rate monitoring
  • Sleep monitoring
  • Water resistant
  • Charging lasts for day at a time
  • Slightly more expensive
It's quite less expensive than Fitbit

As a health and wellness company, we encourage associates to live their best life and that includes taking care of themselves. Fitbit is one of the tools they can use to connect with a customized health and wellness portal. They are able to earn points for their level of activity each day which includes tracked steps, exercise and healthy choices. At the end of the year, they are enrolled in raffles for some pretty awesome prizes.
  • Tracks Steps
  • Tracks Activities
  • Boosts motivation
  • Offers a variety and options to the user
  • A bit uncomfortable sometimes - just because of the feel of the band. And if you are anything link me - I wear mine religiously which can become a discomfort.
  • Accuracy is questionable sometimes (but that is a common issue with all activity trackers)
  • Cannot send or receive calls/texts
This is great for someone strictly dedicated to tracking their motions/activity ranges but are not worried about calls, texts or other distractions in that moment. They are a great tool, but in these specific scenarios.
  • Activity Tracking
  • Sleep Tracking
  • Step Tracking
  • Encourage associates to lead healthier lifestyles
  • Encourage associates to get in more steps daily
  • Encourage associates to be more active daily in general (even if its a quick stretch at the desk)
I love Apple Health's more advanced and comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing - so personally, I switch over to Apple Health and a Apple Watch recently. I would still recommend the Fitbit to someone who may not be sold on the Apple Watch or it's benefits. It's a great way to begin the tracking journey.

To empower monitoring their health proactively during the work from the home period. Employee wellbeing is paramount even when they are remote working. This was a controlled trial within a specific business unit.
  • Continuous health vital stats monitoring
  • Heart rate and stress level monitoring
  • Personalised, health insights based on captured data
  • Companion to user's mobile devices
  • More comprehensive synchronisation with Google Fit and Apple Health app
  • Simple devices starting at cheaper range
  • Improve battery performance of the mid range devices
Suited for all-rounded personal health monitoring and activity tracking. Not great as a smartwatch if fancy installing a variety of third-party apps.
  • Personalised insights
  • Good support
  • Robust devices
  • Good employee satisfaction
  • Good productivity
  • Health hazard prevention
The Fitbit is a complement and enhancement at the same time with those products.

I have been using Fitbit device and the mobile app for 5 years now. Fitbit device helps remind that I shouldn't sit all day long in the office chair, rather have some quick walks for steps that way we come out of the stress (as a developer) and have out of box ideas. I was able to deliver robust products the clients which makes business easy
  • reminder to walk
  • healthy competition with colleges
  • My mental health is clean and unstressed
  • more sync capabilities with Iphone
  • More smart features can be included when compared to apple watch
  • better workout/walking/running calorie recognition
My daily workout and walking reminder are the best suited. Sometimes i feel I that fitbit could have profile selection so that I can customize so that I can switch between.
  • walking steps
  • healthy competition
  • out of box ideas
  • better business with clients
  • good health to employees
  • Employees are not sloppy
Apple Health is more integrated features. It has many features what fitbit doesnt have. but, the price of fitbit is relatively affordable.

We use Fitbit as a wellness device to offer our employees a wellness option. It's a good and affordable tool to use. The tracking of information on the health and wellness of our employees is important to us for multiple reasons. One, to be a healthier person. Two, to receive a wellness benefit from us as the employer. And lastly, for us, the employer to document the changes in our employee's health by being aware of what the employee can do to improve themselves.
  • Track steps taken in one day.
  • Heart rate and determining if the heartrate is high or low.
  • In the app, food tracking.
  • In the app, tacking other forms of exercise.
  • A comprehensive report of progress to share.
  • We would like to see a couple of things such as a carb counter.
  • Add Fitbit device settings to the app for interchangeability.
  • Improve the cost factor. Right now it is affordable to most, but not to all.
  • Ensuring accuracy in the tracking module.
The first scenario is that Fitbit allows our employees to see their exercise productivity in a day. The facility we are working in is a [healthcare-based] facility. We have staff that [is] constantly on the go. The device monitors their activity for personal knowledge and [professionalism]. Therefore, the employee can decide if they are doing enough exercise in a day or if they need more. As an employer, we like to have [documented] activity to provide a wellness benefit. The Fitbit provides us with ideas and tools to improve the health of our staff and to make exercise fun. Lastly, the other features that Fitbit has been extremely beneficial to our staff and residents. They can monitor things like sleep and healthy choices on their own. In addition, looking at [heart rate] and how that reflects on their activity.
  • Exercise
  • Heart rate
  • Nutritional tracking in the app.
  • Sleep
  • The wellness feature is our most positive impact. It assists us in keeping our healthcare rates low.
  • We identify those who could use improvement. Especially if they are having a negative effect on our wellness benefit.
  • We are able to create health plans and a wellness program based on the data we receive from our staff and residents.
The cost of Fitbit is much more affordable and more reasonable for the population we serve. We do wish that some of the features would be improved and easily navigated as the Apple Health app. We selected Fitbit for multiple reasons. One is the affordability (although we do feel that the price is still a bit high). Another is for the personal knowledge of [our] staff and residents on their overall health and how to improve themselves. In addition, the food tracker and sleep tracker provide extra benefits for the individual. Overall this contributes to the wellness program we have implemented and overall our wellness discount to be applied for our staff and residents.
